Who invented YouTube? YouTube is an American online video sharing website. It was founded on February 14, 2005 by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley and Jawed Karim. Jawed Karim
In 2006, Jawed Karim delivered a lecture on the history of YouTube. Today, the site sits at the top of the social media charts, competing with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and Reddit. In college, he chose to major in computer science. In 2005, he became an informal adviser to the company. He became an advisor to YouTube when the website first launched.

Steve Jobs
Steve Jobs was an American computer entrepreneur and media owner. He co-founded Apple Computer Company and oversaw its development of the iPhone, iPod, and iPad. Jobs was born in San Francisco and later adopted by Paul Jobs, a fellow entrepreneur. After graduating from Reed College, he traveled to India and studied Zen Buddhism. He and Wozniak co-founded Apple in 1976. The pair had partnered on the development of a smaller personal computer. After completing his undergraduate studies, Jobs joined Reed College in Portland, Oregon. Reed was an expensive school, so Jobs befriended the student body president Robert Friedland. Brennan stayed in touch with Jobs at Reed and he asked Brennan to move in with him near the school’s campus. In 2008, Apple’s iTunes and iPod were the number two music retailers in the United States. The company’s success was due to the fact that Steve Jobs was a frequent visitor to the university.
