How to Update Messaging on Instagram
The first step in the process of how to update messaging on Instagram is to clear your app’s cache data. In some cases, this is enough to resolve the problem, but it won’t help you solve the problem permanently. If you experience the error after clearing your cache data, you can manually update the app by reinstalling it from the app store. This should temporarily resolve the problem, but if the problem persists, you should try a manual update instead.
React to messages with Emojis
Did you know that you can React to messages with Emojis on your Instagram account? This feature lets you reply with your favorite emojis, or change them to your own favorites. Emojis are available on your profile and on your messages, so make sure to update your settings accordingly.

Once you’ve enabled this feature, you can now reply to specific messages using emojis. Once you’ve opened the message, you can type a text message, reply with stickers or pictures, or send voice messages. To add an emoji to your reply, long-press the message, then select the emoji you want to send. Instagram already has a set of default emoji reactions, but you can also create your own emoji reactions.
You can also change your emojis if you’re feeling awkward or uncomfortable. Emojis are an excellent choice if you want to express your feelings without sounding overly “angry” or “sad.” You can even change the emojis that you use in messages so that they match your personal style. And, since Instagram is an extension of Facebook Messenger, you can always use it to send and receive messages with friends and family.

There are now a whole bunch of emojis available to express emotions and responses to your messages. These can help you grow your following and interact with your friends better. Once you’ve added emojis to your Instagram messaging, you’ll never have to worry about being too formal or over-the-top again.
However, emojis can be deleted from direct messages. To remove emojis from your Instagram direct messages, simply double-tap the message to which you’re responding.
