How to Get Close Friends on Twitter and Instagram
If you want to share tweets with a smaller group of people, Twitter’s Close Friends feature is a great option. Similar to Instagram‘s “Close Friends,” this feature lets you share your tweets with a select group of people. As of this writing, Close Friends is still in testing and can be disabled in the settings. But it’s a neat feature to have, especially if you’re not sure how to use it.
Close Friends is a legacy feature
While Twitter has introduced a new feature called “Close Friends,” it’s unclear how effective it is yet. The Circle function is similar to its Twitter cousin, but it doesn’t ask for consent or provide a way to opt-out.
