How to Delete a Story on Instagram
If you have posted a story and later decided you no longer want to share it, you can remove it. You can search for old stories by date or location. If you do not want to see the story again, you can delete it by tapping the ‘x’ on its title. Once you have removed it, you can search it by date or location again. But how do you do this? Tap More (iPhone) or More (Android) to delete a photo or video
To delete a story on Instagram, tap the More icon in the lower-right corner of a photo or video. You can delete the photo or video or share it with other users. If you want to remove all content from your Instagram Stories, you can do so by following a few easy steps. First, open your Instagram app. Tap on your profile picture at the top-left corner. From there, tap the photo or video you’d like to delete. Tap the three-dot “More” icon to confirm the deletion. The content won’t be gone forever, but you can find it again later.
After deleting the story, you can archive it to use again in the future. Once you’re done with it, you can also use the archive to find deleted stories and re-post them. If you’re posting stories for a business account, you can also delete your stories from the archive to include newer, better versions in the future. However, if you’re not promoting a business account, you can’t delete stories that you’ve promoted.
