YouTube Not Working on iPhone or iPad? Here’s How to Fix It
If your video on YouTube is not working properly on your iPhone or iPad, the first thing to do is to check your Internet connection. Sometimes, YouTube will not work if you have a bad connection or if you have the wrong time or date settings. In such cases, check your Internet connection, remove any Ad-blocking applications, or try to reset your Time Zone setting. If none of these solutions work, try the other methods listed below.
Internet connection
If you’ve tried to stream YouTube videos but have experienced buffering, it’s possible that your Internet connection is the problem. If you’re using a connection with fluctuating bandwidth, try changing the settings on your device. You may be able to resolve the issue by restarting your device. If all else fails, try clearing your cache and checking your browser. If all else fails, try restarting your device and re-opening YouTube. Play a video to see if the problem persists.
Another solution if your YouTube service isn’t working properly is to try turning off airplane mode. This should work for a few hours, but it may require you to restart your device. Depending on your operating system, you may have to update the GPU driver on your computer. If this doesn’t work, you can try updating the drivers manually. However, this method is only valid for computers. If you’re unable to find the proper drivers for your video card, check the device’s manufacturer’s website and download the latest ones.
Ad-blocker apps
YouTube not working due to ad blocker apps? If this is the case, you must clear your ad-blocker settings to fix the problem. Open your browser and find the AdBlock button (it will vary depending on your browser). Click it. On the next page, click Options and then select the FILTER LISTS tab. Click Update now and then wait for all lists to be updated. After that, the ad-blocker will no longer block YouTube.
You may notice a black box on the top right corner of your browser. Click this and enter your account credentials to sign in. You will be prompted to sign out of Adblock if you have it installed on your browser. Once logged in, check the YouTube page to see if you are seeing any ads. Adblock users may notice that the ads are too long to be skipped. To get around this problem, disable AdBlock extension and reload the page.
Corrupted app
If you’ve ever experienced YouTube not working due to corrupted app, you’re not alone. YouTube has been known to experience this issue on different types of mobile devices. Sometimes, the problem is a corrupt cache or the app hasn’t been properly installed. To resolve this problem, you should first try to clear the cache or data of the app in your phone’s settings. Open the settings menu and tap on “App Data.” In the options menu, tap on the cached data. If the cached data is not cleared, try rebooting your phone.
If this doesn’t solve the problem, try reinstalling the app. Reinstalling the app will remove any in-app errors and clear any data on the app. Alternatively, if you’re unable to play YouTube videos due to corrupted app, you can try turning off content and privacy restrictions on your phone. In addition, turning off the YouTube app will also fix this issue. If you’ve already tried these steps, YouTube will probably still not work.
Time zone setting
Sometimes YouTube not working is caused by the wrong time zone setting on your device. If your time zone is incorrect, Google’s servers may have trouble synchronizing. In this case, you should try setting your time zone manually. If you don’t have a time zone set on your device, you can enable the automatic time and date feature on your Android phone. Then, try rebooting your phone to force the date and time to update. Once the time and date are correct, you should be able to view videos.
If the time zone setting is set correctly, YouTube will display videos. If you still see the loading sign, your time zone is incorrect. To fix this, change your system’s time zone to one that matches the current location of your computer. If that doesn’t fix the problem, try changing your time zone manually. Another quick way to check whether the time zone setting on your computer is correct is to right-click the time in the Windows taskbar. You can also try turning off the system’s time zone settings.
