What to Do When Twitter Goes Private

Delete old tweets

Untag yourself from past conversations
Twitter is testing a new feature that lets you untag yourself from past conversations. Approve follower requests on a private twitter account
If you want to add new followers to your Twitter profile, you must first approve them. You can see the pending follower requests in the Follower Requests tab of your private Twitter account. To approve them, click on the three dots next to the profile photo on your laptop or mobile device. To approve a follower, tap on the “Approve Follower Requests” link. This will bring you to your follower request page.
After approving new follower requests, you can view them individually. If you don’t want new followers, you can also block other users.
