How to Turn Off Twitter Recommendations
If you’ve ever wondered how to turn off Twitter recommendations, it’s probably because of the large amount of data it collects from your tweets. Twitter uses your history to show you recommended content based on your interests. You can disable recommendations, turn off Highlights, unfollow people, or mute accounts, but first, you should know how to turn on and off Twitter’s recommendations. This article will teach you how.
Highlights
To completely turn off Twitter Highlights, you can go into Push Notifications and uncheck the box next to the feature. Highlights is an option included as part of your daily digest, so you can change the frequency with which you see them. To see also : How Twitter Reacted to the Rams Landing Bobby Wagner. However, if you don’t want to receive these notifications, you can also disable the algorithm altogether by setting the “mute” term on your Twitter account. This feature will prevent your algorithm from tweeting, replying to, or liking your posts. When you disable Twitter Highlights, you’ll still receive tweets from people you follow. This feature is also similar to the While You Were Away feature, which allows you to see interesting posts from your followers without having to follow each one.
