How to Review Tags on Facebook
If you’ve ever wondered how to review tags on Facebook, then you’ve come to the right place. Facebook allows you to review tags before they appear on your timeline, but you can’t stop your friends from tagging you. Rather, you can only remove tags if you’ve been alerted by the person who tagged you. However, this feature is handy if you’ve posted something that’s important to you and want to restrict who can see it.
Timeline review
To change the time frame of posts you publish on your Facebook timeline, you can toggle the “Timeline review” setting. Toggling this setting will stop posts from automatically posting without your permission. This feature also applies to posts tagged by people you are not friends with. Restricting visibility of tagged content
When posting on Facebook, you may be wondering how to restrict the visibility of your tagged content. Luckily, Facebook offers several options for restricting tag visibility, including allowing you to control who can see your posts. To begin, you should configure your privacy settings to allow you to see tagged content before others see it. Facebook will alert you whenever someone tags your posts. From there, you can decide whether to let that content appear on your Timeline or to hide it.
Limit the visibility of posts to friends only if you’re posting to a public page. Otherwise, set your audience to Friends of your friends only. This setting is preferable over the Public setting, which means that anyone can see your posts. Public pages are usually created to generate interest in businesses, so even though they’re protected, people can still view them if you tag them. If you’re posting a lot of personal information, you might want to restrict the visibility of those posts to friends only.
