How to Play a YouTube Video in Background
Trying to figure out how to play a YouTube video in the background? Here are three options for you to consider. First, you can use a browser that has Picture-in-Picture mode. Second, you can also use YouTube Premium. This service has no ads and will play videos in the background. Third, you can use your mobile device to access YouTube. Whether you’re on a PC or on a mobile device, there are several ways to play a YouTube video in the background.
Brave Browser
If you’ve been wondering how to watch YouTube videos in the background on your Android device, the answer is not as complicated as it seems. In order to enable this feature on Brave, go to the settings menu and select “Background video. Next, you need to enable “Multimedia” and “Play in the background”.

Safari
If you want to watch a YouTube video in the background on your Mac, you can do it without leaving the current app. The first step to play YouTube in the background on Safari is to launch the YouTube desktop site. In order to do so, select “desktop view” from the menu bar. After playing the video, tap the aA symbol in the address bar and select “Request desktop site.
