How Do I Change My Privacy Settings on Twitter?
To change your privacy settings on Twitter, go to the three-lined icon on the top-left corner of your screen and click on “Settings and privacy.” Click on “Privacy and safety,” then “Tweets”. Choose the first option, “Protect your Tweets,” to only allow your current followers to see your tweets. You must approve new followers before they can follow you. To control who can tag you in photos, you can select “Only my followers” or “Only people I follow.”
Disabling the sensitive content setting
Disabling the sensitive content setting on Twitter will prevent users from seeing certain types of content. This setting allows users to control what they see by adding a layer of “This Tweet Might Contain Sensitive Content” to posts. See the article : Is it Rude Not to Follow Back on Twitter?. This setting can be toggled on and off, allowing users to control what they see. By default, Twitter will show sensitive content, but you can turn it off at any time.
To disable this setting, you must sign in to your Twitter account. Navigate to Settings > Privacy and Safety. Click the button next to Sensitive Content and select Always show me sensitive media. After selecting Always show me sensitive content, tap on Don’t show me this setting again. That’s it! Once you’ve done that, you can sign out of Twitter. This will also turn off the sensitive content warning.
Alternatively, you can uncheck the “mark media I post as sensitive” option. If you are a regular poster of sensitive content on Twitter, you should keep it enabled. If you don’t, you might face stronger action. You should figure out what content is sensitive, as Twitter’s policy is more lenient than Facebook‘s. It will display a warning only if you post content that contains sexual violence and gore.
Controlling who can see your tweets
Controlling who can see your tweets on the social networking site isn’t always a simple process. However, you can control who sees your tweets by limiting their visibility. The new tweet dialog on the website includes a link that says “Everyone can reply. On the same subject : Why Does Elon Musk Buy Twitter Now?.” To limit the number of people who can see your tweets, click the People you follow or Only mention option. In addition, you can choose to not mention anyone. You must also edit your tweet to change the restriction.
Until now, users had to set their preferences when writing their tweets. The new feature allows users to change this setting later, after they’ve sent a tweet. It may sound counterintuitive, but it can help combat harassment and keep your Twitter profile clean. The new feature will be available worldwide and for users who want to restrict their followers from reading their tweets, the change is welcome news. Hopefully, this feature will help a lot of Twitter users to avoid a plethora of spam and unwanted replies.
Controlling who can see your tweets on the social networking website is also possible. By default, everyone who follows you can view everything you post on the site. However, you can choose who can see your tweets and set the timeframe within which they will be archived. Moreover, you can choose the time limit of the archived tweets, which will help you decide who should read them. By controlling who can see your tweets on Twitter, you can protect your privacy and your reputation.
