Unlisted videos are also not visible to people who don&#8217;t subscribe to your channel, but can be viewed by anyone with the link.<\/p>\n<p>Another way to make your YouTube video more private is by setting it to private. Private videos can be helpful for sharing family videos, secret company projects, and special moments. You can schedule their release date and save storage space on your phone. You can only invite friends and family to view them if you invite them to do so. And since they&#8217;re only visible to you, nobody else can see them. But private videos are more private than public ones.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Mass_share_is_possible_but_with_limitations\"><\/span>Mass share is possible but with limitations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a business, you might want to make some of your YouTube videos private so they don&#8217;t appear to other users. Private videos can be stored in your own personal repository and can be accessed only by you or people who are invited by email. Creating a private video is an excellent way to conserve space and save money, and it also allows you to share it on the go.<\/p>\n<p>Mass sharing is possible but with limitations for private YouTube videos. In order to do so, you need to enter the email addresses of the people you wish to share the video with. If you don&#8217;t have a list of email addresses of these people, you can use Google Classroom. This method is also effective for sending a YouTube link. However, you need to be logged into YouTube in order to mass share a video.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"YouTube_has_a_private_option\"><\/span>YouTube has a private option<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to keep certain members of your channel or video collection from seeing your content, you can use YouTube&#8217;s private option to share videos. This option is available on YouTube for both the channel owner and other users. To access your private videos, you will need to sign up for an account on YouTube. Once you have registered, you can click the &#8220;Your Videos&#8221; tab on the left panel. Here, you can select one or several videos to share.<\/p>\n<p>You can also share your videos on social media or email. A private URL is only visible to people who have been invited to view it. If you have a private video, you can share its URL with up to fifty other people. It also helps maintain a certain degree of latency. When you share your video on social media, you can also share it on the web with the help of a private URL.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Changing_a_video_from_public_to_private\"><\/span>Changing a video from public to private<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to make a YouTube video private, you can do so while it&#8217;s being uploaded or after you&#8217;ve uploaded it. Go to the YouTube app and tap the Upload Video icon. You&#8217;ll then see four options. Choose Private &#8211; Only you can view this video. Then tap &#8216;Save&#8217; to complete the change. Your video will be made private and no one else will be able to view it.<\/p>\n<p>In YouTube Creator Studio, tap Video Manager. In the left side of the page, you&#8217;ll see three icons: world, chain, and lock. Click the arrow next to the one that says &#8220;Change privacy.&#8221; Select Private or Unlisted. After you&#8217;ve made your selection, you&#8217;ll see a drop-down menu with more options. Choose the option that corresponds to your desired privacy setting.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Limitations_of_sharing_a_private_video\"><\/span>Limitations of sharing a private video<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are a few limits to sharing a private YouTube video. By default, a private video can be viewed only by those who have been invited to view it. This means that the video won&#8217;t be visible in search results or tab video sections. And while it is possible to invite friends to view a private video, you can&#8217;t share a private link to a public video. There are some exceptions, however.<\/p>\n<p>For example, if you&#8217;re trying to share a secret project with your team, using a private video setting is a good option. You don&#8217;t want the entire YouTube community to see your personal videos. In other words, you shouldn&#8217;t share them publicly. Instead, use private videos to share with a few people.
