When you have selected the clip you want to cut, the playhead line will thicken. Now, click and drag it to the end of the section. When you&#8217;re finished, click &#8220;Save&#8221; and then click &#8220;Add end screen.&#8221; This will create an end screen that links to related videos.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want to re-encode the whole video, you can use a third-party app that splits videos. Clipchamp lets you trim video, audio, or image clips to cut them down to the length you want. You can also select the clip that you want to cut by dragging it to the timeline. Once you&#8217;ve selected the clip, you can click the green or red playhead handles to select it. Click the &#8220;cut&#8221; button and drag the blue bar to the end of the video.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Adding_text_animations\"><\/span>Adding text animations<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You&#8217;ve mastered the art of typing, arranging, and positioning text in your video. Text animations can also be repositioned with just a click, and you can adjust them in your video&#8217;s timeline. In addition to using the tools in your video editor, you can add and remove layers of text to your videos.<\/p>\n<p>You can easily add text animations to your videos by clicking on the &#8220;Text&#8221; icon on the toolbar. You can edit the text, as well as choose the font, color, alignment, and background. You can also add a speech balloon to the video. And if you&#8217;d like to add special effects to your text, you can also make it move! The duration will determine how long the animation will last.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Adding_transitions\"><\/span>Adding transitions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Adding video transitions is a great way to spice up your video without breaking your budget. You might not have a huge budget, but the right transition can add professional appeal to your video. A well-chosen transition can be the difference between a boring video and a high-quality one. You should choose the transition carefully, since a single one can make your video look unprofessional. Instead, use several different transitions to build the storytelling experience.<\/p>\n<p>Wipe transition: A wipe transition displays the next scene. It replaces one shot with the next. This type of transition is useful for giving the illusion of an elevator door closing. It can also be used to add a vintage film look to your video. Wipe transitions are great for video intros, since they evoke the appearance of a film reel. Just remember to choose a transition style that fits your video&#8217;s style.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Adding_B-roll\"><\/span>Adding B-roll<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Adding B-roll to your YouTube video can make the entire process easier. When editing a video, it&#8217;s important to include B-roll before the main content. Using the Split feature, you can separate a B-roll clip into two or more segments. Once you&#8217;ve split the B-roll, you&#8217;ll need to cut them so they fit seamlessly within the rest of the video. While B-roll isn&#8217;t considered primary content, it can be edited to fit within the narrative. You can also use sliders to adjust the length of B-roll footage.<\/p>\n<p>Using B-roll can improve the quality of your video. B-roll is like filler text, but instead of telling a story, it illustrates it visually. Adding B-roll to your video will enhance the storyline and break up monotony. In a short interview, B-roll may be included in the main video portion. In a longer documentary, it may not be necessary.
