Toggling the toggle to the &#8220;off&#8221; position will stop YouTube from collecting your history. It will also let you manage other data on Google. However, you may want to delete it before the three-month window expires.<\/p>\n<p>If you want to keep your history for longer than three months, you can use the Auto-delete option on Google Chrome. Unlike Chrome, YouTube remembers your searches and what videos you&#8217;ve viewed in the past. This information is used by YouTube to suggest videos and make you watch older ones. You can disable this history collection by turning off &#8220;Incognito mode&#8221; on the YouTube app. However, this method will remove your subscriptions and recommendations from YouTube while in Incognito mode.<\/p>\n<p>To enable YouTube in Incognito mode, simply open the YouTube app and tap on the profile icon. Next, tap on Turn on Incognito. This will prevent the website from storing your history in your local storage. You will notice that this mode is disabled for about 90 minutes. This will remove any cached images and files that you might have downloaded. While this mode makes browsing on the Internet more anonymous, it&#8217;s still possible for websites, Internet service providers, and employers to view your history.
