This feature is only available to accounts you have added to your list. Those who are on your list won&#8217;t be notified when you post something new. Nevertheless, you won&#8217;t lose contact with people who you don&#8217;t want to see your posts, especially if they&#8217;re a part of your Close Friends list.<\/p>\n<p>To use the &#8216;Close Friends&#8217; feature, you must first update your Instagram app. The &#8216;Close Friends&#8217; list appears as a green circle around your profile icon. Only your Close Friends will see it. You can change this setting anytime you want, but once you have changed it, your post will only be visible to your Close Friends. To hide a post from someone who isn&#8217;t on your list, you should tap the &#8216;Close Friends&#8217; option in the bottom-left corner of your profile.
