To confirm the deletion, click &#8220;OK.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>You can also delete your Instagram account in mobile browser. Go to the Delete Account page. You will need your password, if you have one. Once there, select &#8220;Remove Account.&#8221; The page will have a red deletion button. This will remove your profile information from the platform. After 30 days, your account will be permanently deleted. You can also wait up to 90 days before it is completely removed.<\/p>\n<p>You can permanently delete your Instagram account from mobile by following a few simple steps. First, you&#8217;ll need to choose the reason for the deletion. Next, you will need to re-enter your password. Lastly, you should remove your Instagram app from your phone. By doing this, you will prevent future sign-ups with the same username. If you&#8217;ve been removed from the Instagram platform due to violating their terms and conditions, you will no longer be able to sign up for the app.<\/p>\n<p>While you can delete your Instagram account from mobile, you can&#8217;t do it from the Instagram app. To delete your Instagram account from your mobile, you&#8217;ll need to go to the Delete Your Account page in your mobile browser. Log in to your account and choose the reason for deleting your account. Once you choose a reason for deleting your account, you&#8217;ll see the option to permanently delete your account.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_you_temporarily_disable_your_account\"><\/span>Can you temporarily disable your account?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Can you temporarily disable your Instagram account in mobile if you have been asked to do so? Instagram allows you to temporarily deactivate your account for various reasons. For example, you may want to temporarily disable your account for exams or a parent&#8217;s request. However, you cannot delete it permanently because your followers can still find it. Then, select the &#8220;Temporarily Disable Account&#8221; option. Once you&#8217;ve done this, you&#8217;ll be signed out of all devices and booted to the main Instagram page. Your account will be hidden from others until you log in again.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Can_you_reinstate_your_account\"><\/span>Can you reinstate your account?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to deactivate your Instagram account for some reason, you can do so from the website. Simply sign in using the correct log-in information, and scroll down to Temporarily Disable My Account. After selecting the reason, click the &#8220;Yes&#8221; button, and your account will be temporarily disabled. Once deactivated, your account will be hidden from the public. Once this is complete, you can reactivate it by logging into your account again.<\/p>\n<p>First, you must log in to your account by entering the password you used to create your account. Once you&#8217;ve done this, you may be asked to agree to updated Terms of Service. Alternatively, you can enter your phone number to verify your account. If you deactivate your account for any reason, you will be prompted to accept the new Terms of Service before you can reactivate it.<\/p>\n<p>Another way to delete your Instagram account is to disable it completely, which will also delete all of your content. After this process, your Instagram account will no longer be visible to anyone else. In addition, you will lose all of your messages, photos, videos, and Story archives. It&#8217;s as if your account has never existed.
