Custom Emojis are an excellent way to react to messages, and they can even be used to highlight a message. But you may have problems using them in your DMs if the other user does not have the same type of device as you. Instead of clicking &#8220;like&#8221; or &#8220;dislike,&#8221; simply tap &#8220;un-react&#8221; and select your reaction. You can use Instagram&#8217;s built-in filters, as well as external photo editing programs, to add text and stickers. Once you&#8217;ve finished posting your reaction, you can simply un-send it as a regular direct message.<\/p>\n<p>There are also ways to un-react to specific messages. You can simply tap the heart emoji to un-react to a message without changing the Emoji. To do so, simply open the conversation window and double-tap the message in question. You can then choose another emoji to respond to the message. This method is ideal if you&#8217;ve accidentally clicked the wrong emoji, or simply don&#8217;t feel like reacting at all.<\/p>\n<p>While on Instagram, you can use custom Emojis to react to certain messages. Simply hold down the message and select the emoji you&#8217;d like to react to. If you&#8217;d prefer not to use any emoji, you can also tap on the smiley face beside the text. This will un-react the message and replace the Emoji with another one. This option can also be done from your computer, if you don&#8217;t want to use your mobile phone.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reply\"><\/span>Reply<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are some basic guidelines on how to react to Instagram messages. Once you&#8217;ve seen a message, you can reply. If you&#8217;re on desktop, you can reply to individual messages. Otherwise, you&#8217;ll need to wait for the message to reach your phone. You can also delete the message, or delete the account, if you want to avoid sending unwanted messages. However, if you&#8217;re on mobile, you must send your reply within 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p>To react to a DM, simply select the emoji that you want to use. Instagram has a wide selection of emojis, so you can easily choose the best one. Simply open the message in your DM application, press &#8220;chats&#8221; and choose a response emoji from the list. If you&#8217;re not comfortable with the emoji you&#8217;ve chosen, you can delete it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Quick_reaction\"><\/span>Quick reaction<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re frustrated with the flurry of notifications that keep surfacing when you post on Instagram, it might be time to disable quick reactions. It&#8217;s simple enough to do, but you can also turn off the feature in your settings. You can find it under the privacy settings section of your account. Once you&#8217;ve disabled quick reactions, they won&#8217;t be displayed again. But if you want to have more control over when they appear, you should use the following troubleshooting guide.<\/p>\n<p>Alternatively, you can disable quick reactions and re-enable them by going to your profile and tapping the three lines in the top left corner. Next, choose Settings, scroll down to Quick Reactions, and toggle the switch off. You can also delete your account and re-add them if you&#8217;re tired of getting bombarded by quick reactions.
