Fortunately, it&#8217;s a fairly simple process that&#8217;s been around for years. To delete a Tweet notification, simply follow these steps. In this article, we&#8217;ll go over each method in detail.<\/p>\n<p>First, open the Twitter app on your Android device and tap on the profile picture. Scroll down to notifications, and tap the star icon. To disable notifications, tap on the star icon. Tap on this icon to turn on notifications. You can turn them off by tapping the same icon. To enable or disable a tweet notification, tap on it again. Once you&#8217;ve turned it off, the notification will be gone for good. Just keep in mind that this procedure can take several minutes to be effective.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Interactions\"><\/span>Interactions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to clear out the notifications on Twitter, you&#8217;ll first need to understand the way the site handles this. Twitter&#8217;s &#8220;Interactions&#8221; tab consists of a list of notifications, such as favorites, retweets, new followers, and more. While there is no &#8220;delete&#8221; button for each notification, you can hide or filter certain types of interactions. In most cases, you should delete the Tweet itself before attempting to remove the notification.<\/p>\n<p>The format of the alert is changing, so you won&#8217;t see everything you&#8217;ve sent or received. However, you&#8217;ll still be able to find old tweets. Twitter has built in anti-abuse features, such as the ability to specify who can reply to a particular tweet. This means that you can delete old tweets that are no longer relevant, or those that contain certain keywords that aren&#8217;t suited for your purposes.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Highlights\"><\/span>Highlights<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to turn off Highlights of Twitter notifications, there are a few things you need to do. Twitter users have to enable Highlights on each of their accounts individually. Once enabled, you should see a checkmark on the Highlights check box in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen. You can also turn off Highlights by clicking the switch next to Highlights in the settings menu of the Twitter app. This feature is now available in many languages.<\/p>\n<p>While you can&#8217;t turn Highlights off completely, you can turn off these notifications by opting out of push notifications. This can be done in the Notifications settings or in the Android settings. In the Notifications pane, you can turn off Twitter notifications. To turn off Twitter notifications, go to the Settings menu on your device. Then tap on Notifications. Next, click on Advanced filters. There, you&#8217;ll find the Highlights setting.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Popular_in_your_network\"><\/span>Popular in your network<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve been wondering how to disable the popular in your network notification on Twitter, you&#8217;ve come to the right place. Highlights and Popular in Your Network notifications are annoying, but there is a way to disable them without losing any content. While these notifications are not pop ups like those in the news, they do show up on your phone&#8217;s screen. If you&#8217;d rather not see these notifications, there are other options you can try.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unsubscribe_from_all_notifications\"><\/span>Unsubscribe from all notifications<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to unsubscribe from all Twitter notifications, you can do it manually. To do so, go to your account settings page and find the switch marked &#8220;unsubscribe from Twitter notifications.&#8221; Then, click on it. You can also check whether you&#8217;re subscribed by email by clicking the &#8220;tick box&#8221; next to it. If you&#8217;re not interested in receiving emails from Twitter, you can also turn off the notifications by opting out of Twitter&#8217;s notification service.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to disabling Twitter email alerts, you can also opt out of other notifications from the company. These emails contain the latest updates from top users on Twitter and the stories of connected friends. You can also turn off all Twitter notifications by visiting the all options tab on your Twitter account. You can also disable SMS and push notifications.
