All three men have experience in the technology industry, but which one should be the leader? Let&#8217;s discuss the differences and similarities between these three people.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Jack_Dorsey\"><\/span>Jack Dorsey<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>After six years at Twitter, Jack Dorsey is stepping down as its CEO. The move paves the way for Elon Musk, who has pledged to make major changes at the company. The tech giant has been facing criticism from lawmakers and investors for suppressing conservative voices. The former president of the United States has also used his Twitter feed to threaten enemies and keep allies in line. After the Jan. 6 attack, Twitter barred Mr. Trump from his account.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016, he and Facebook&#8217;s founder Mark Zuckerberg were grilled by Republicans in a congressional hearing. Neither CEO blinked, and they were forced to defend the companies they co-founded. During his public testimony, Dorsey defended Twitter and Facebook. In addition to Twitter, he takes regular ice baths and barrel saunas. He alternates between the two, often finishing with an ice bath.<\/p>\n<p>Elliott Management, an activist hedge fund based in Silicon Valley, had been questioning Mr. Dorsey&#8217;s leadership style for some time. However, it seems that he chose the company over his own ego. Elliott Management had pushed Twitter to change its leadership, claiming it would be better for Twitter&#8217;s shareholders if he chose a new CEO. But Jack Dorsey has resisted the pressures of the investors, and has continued to work on Twitter&#8217;s strategy.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Parag_Agrawal\"><\/span>Parag Agrawal<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Jack Dorsey stepped down as CEO of Twitter on Monday. His replacement, software engineer Parag Agrawal, has become one of Dorsey&#8217;s closest allies. In an email to employees, Dorsey said his trust in Agrawal was &#8220;bone-deep,&#8221; saying the latter understood the company&#8217;s needs and would work with him to continue to grow the company.<\/p>\n<p>The choice of Agrawal as CEO is a surprise to some Twitter employees. Despite having a lower profile in the company than some of his co-workers, Agrawal is little-known outside of Twitter. He&#8217;s less well known than Dorsey, who is famous for his bitcoin obsession and eccentric diet. If this is the case, Agrawal&#8217;s tenure as CEO at Twitter may be short-lived.<\/p>\n<p>Agrawal&#8217;s academic background was in computer science. His dissertation adviser, Jennifer Widom, had a focus on databases, which made him an ideal fit for Twitter. Twitter needs to juggle the data of millions of people around the globe. In fact, Agrawal joined Twitter while he was still in college. He worked as part of the engineering team at Twitter and grew into a key figure in the company&#8217;s growth.<\/p>\n<p>Agrawal is expected to lead the company&#8217;s moderation policy. Dorsey, who has been CEO since 2006, has struggled to gain traction in the US market and attract new users. Despite that, the company reported a 74% increase in yearly revenue, with 206 million daily active users. Agrawal has been credited for helping Twitter to improve its technical strategy and address issues such as algorithmic bias.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Elon_Musk\"><\/span>Elon Musk<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Elon Musk, founder of Tesla and SpaceX, has announced plans to abandon the acquisition of Twitter. His exit has sparked questions about Twitter&#8217;s management structure. After all, the new CEO of the company would have shaken up the existing hierarchy. Musk&#8217;s background includes investments in Tesla, Neuralink, SpaceX, and The Boring Company. According to an SEC filing, Musk has already handpicked investors. These investors range from Larry Ellison to Honeycomb Asset Management, which invested in SpaceX.<\/p>\n<p>The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has made presentations and financial projections based on Twitter analysis. The CEO has said that too many engineers aren&#8217;t doing enough. He also pledged to make Twitter a &#8220;magnet for talent.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In the past few months, Musk has been vocal about his concerns over the direction of Twitter. He&#8217;s mocked Agrawal for stating that &#8220;a new era is coming for Twitter&#8221; and he has echoed the criticism of censorship on Twitter. But Musk has not answered the employee concerns.
