Once you&#8217;ve created your message, your recipient will be able to view it and open it from the chat window.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve created an account and set up a profile, you can send the gift message to the recipient through Instagram&#8217;s DM. To do this, simply open the app and click on the conversation tab. After that, click on the photo you wish to send. In the next screen, you&#8217;ll see a magnifying glass icon and a variety of stickers, hearts, and other effects. Click on any of these to add a personalized gift message.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Delete_a_gift_message\"><\/span>Delete a gift message<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you accidentally sent someone a gift message, you may wish to un-send it. The good news is that Instagram allows you to do that, but it&#8217;s important to be aware that this message has already been seen by the recipient. You can un-send the gift message by tapping the &#8220;Unsend&#8221; or &#8220;Remove for you&#8221; button. Luckily, this option also works for other kinds of messages.<\/p>\n<p>To enable gift messaging on Instagram, you&#8217;ll need to update your app. If you&#8217;ve got an older version, the feature is not available. Update your Instagram app to get it. After doing so, click the &#8220;chat&#8221; tab in your settings. Once there, swipe right on the gift icon and select &#8220;Send message&#8221; to send a message.
