Instagram offers several parental controls and security options, so you can make sure your child doesn&#8217;t see your posts or other updates. You can also choose to hide your last seen time-stamp or activity status when you&#8217;re with someone. Here are a few examples of privacy settings that you can turn off:<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disable_Show_when_youre_both_active_in_a_chat\"><\/span>Disable Show when you&#8217;re both active in a chat<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>It is possible to turn off the feature known as Show when you&#8217;re both active in chatting on Instagram. To do so, go to Settings and click on Privacy. Push the Activity Status option and select &#8220;Disable Show when you&#8217;re both active in a chat.&#8221; Once you&#8217;ve done this, your friends and followers will not be notified when you&#8217;re online. This feature is not as intrusive as some users would have you believe, and can be turned on and off as needed.<\/p>\n<p>To enable or disable Show when you&#8217;re both active in chatting on Instagram, tap on the profile icon in the bottom-right corner. You&#8217;ll then see two options: one for hiding your status, and the other for showing it to other users. You can use this setting to make your interactions with friends and family more private. To turn off the Show When You&#8217;re Both Active in a Chat feature, you must have an account with a different username than the one you&#8217;re using.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hide_your_last_seen_timestamp\"><\/span>Hide your last seen timestamp<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you are tired of your Last Seen timestamp on Instagram, you can now hide it from specific people. While it may sound unethical, you should consider hiding your availability for privacy reasons. Keeping track of people&#8217;s last online activity on social media can lead to misunderstandings and straining relationships. You may not be responding to messages immediately, leading you to think that someone is avoiding you.<\/p>\n<p>The good news is that you can now hide your Last Seen timestamp on Instagram! Luckily, there are a few ways to do so. To do so, first, find the profile you want to hide. Then, navigate to the settings tab, and select &#8220;Edit Profile Info&#8221; from the left-hand menu. You&#8217;ll see two options for changing your Last Seen status, one for hiding it from other users and another for enabling it on your own profile.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hide_your_activity_status\"><\/span>Hide your activity status<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Hide your activity status on Instagram is a great way to avoid having your activity displayed to strangers. Instagram lets the community know what you&#8217;re doing, called Activity Status, and many people don&#8217;t want their activity status shared. Here&#8217;s how to hide it. Just toggle the switch to the &#8220;OFF&#8221; position. Now, you&#8217;re free to hide your activity status from the public. You&#8217;ll be surprised by the difference.<\/p>\n<p>First, go to your profile page. From the home screen, tap on the profile icon. This will take you to your profile. The profile icon is on the bottom or top right corner of the screen. To change your profile photo, tap on the icon. Then, select Settings. You can change this setting to your liking. This setting is located just under Notifications. Once you&#8217;ve changed the settings, you can now view your activity on Instagram in a private manner.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Manage_multiple_accounts\"><\/span>Manage multiple accounts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The new functionality to manage multiple accounts on Instagram is available for Android and iPhone users. This new feature makes it easy to switch between multiple accounts and monitor all of them from one dashboard. It also gives you access to more advanced features compared to Creator Studio, such as bulk scheduling and detailed analytics. To use the new feature, simply update your Instagram app to version 7.15 and then tap on Settings -&gt; Add Account. Then, follow the steps outlined in the following guide.<\/p>\n<p>One of the best ways to manage multiple accounts is to use a dashboard that allows you to switch between different accounts from one location. While managing multiple Instagram profiles can be time consuming, you can use a dashboard that allows you to monitor each profile simultaneously. You can try using a tool like Statusbrew or Creator Studio to set up a unified dashboard to manage all your profiles from a single location.
