If you&#8217;d rather not bother with captions, you can turn them on and off by viewing your video. Just remember to turn them off and on again to avoid future captioning issues. The Instagram auto caption feature is a big help for captioning content and improving accessibility.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disabling_comments\"><\/span>Disabling comments<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Disabling comments on Instagram is an easy way to prevent trolls from making bad comments about your post. Depending on the content of your post, you may not want your followers to leave nasty comments. There are a few ways you can do this. If you have an account on Instagram, you can disable comments on your own posts or those of specific users. Once you&#8217;ve disabled comments, you can turn them back on and continue posting as usual.<\/p>\n<p>To turn off comments, click the ellipsis icon at the top right corner of a post. Click on the &#8220;Turn on Commenting&#8221; button to re-enable comments. When you&#8217;re finished, you&#8217;ll see a list of the users who have commented on your posts. However, if you want to hide your status, you can toggle the switch from ON to OFF. Regardless of your reason, a hidden status can be an effective way to hide your activity from everyone.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re looking for a way to keep your activity status private, Instagram gives you many options. First, you can change the &#8220;Show Activity Status&#8221; settings so that only people who follow or DM you will see it. This is particularly useful if you have a public account and you don&#8217;t want your followers to monitor your activities. You can also disable the &#8220;Show Activity Status&#8221; option in Facebook or WhatsApp, two other popular social networking platforms.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Suspending_your_account\"><\/span>Suspending your account<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can appeal against the suspension of your Instagram account. There are a few ways you can appeal against the suspension. First, make sure to follow Instagram&#8217;s community guidelines and terms of service. Suspending your account will prevent other users from seeing anything you&#8217;ve posted. Second, you can only suspend your account once a week. If you accidentally log in again, your posts will become visible to your followers. Thankfully, you can get your account back after you&#8217;ve been suspended.<\/p>\n<p>You can request to restore your suspended Instagram account within 30 days. To do so, first log in with your username and password. Click on the &#8220;Keep Account&#8221; button. After that, you can choose to suspend your account for a period of time. This way, your profile will be hidden from the public and you can restore it later if you need to. If you don&#8217;t want to wait, you can also choose to delete your Instagram account.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Changing_your_privacy_settings\"><\/span>Changing your privacy settings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Changing your privacy settings on Instagram is the best way to stop unwanted attention and interactions. You can restrict who can see your posts and comments, or control who slides into your stories and messages. Changing your settings will prevent your posts and comments from being viewed by anyone other than people you choose to follow or interact with. You should also turn off contact syncing if you wish to have even less interaction with people on Instagram.<\/p>\n<p>Changing your privacy settings on Instagram is as simple as changing your profile picture&#8217;s privacy settings. Unlike Facebook, Instagram allows you to choose whether your posts are public or private. If you choose public, everyone with an Instagram account can see your posts. On the other hand, if you choose private, only users who have approved you to follow can see your posts.
