If this is happening to you, don’t despair: there are a few simple steps you can take. First, tap on your profile image and select settings. Then, go to privacy. Select notifications. Scroll down to the Twitter section and deselect the topic option. This will remove the topic from your Twitter account.

Unfollowing a topic

Trying to figure out how to stop Twitter from suggesting topics to you? The simple answer is unfollowing a topic on Twitter. Twitter is an excellent online marketing tool for many businesses. By unfollowing a topic, Twitter will not suggest you the same thing over again. To do this, follow other topics in the same niche. That way, Twitter will not suggest the same topics to you, and you can continue to follow others in that niche.

If you’re sick and tired of seeing Golden State Warriors tweets on your home timeline, you can easily unfollow the topic. However, keep in mind that some tweets will still appear related to the topic if you follow people who share your interest. You can also mute a topic to prevent Twitter from showing you tweets from those who are not following it. To unfollow a topic on Twitter, tap on the three-dot menu and then tap “Unfollow” on the right side.

Turning off Twitter’s suggested topics

If you find your timeline overflowing with irrelevant topics, consider turning off Twitter’s suggested topics. Twitter’s algorithm automatically suggests topics based on your interests, but you can manually edit your settings to remove any topics you find inopportune. The only downside is that you’ll need to periodically check your topics list to make sure they’re still relevant. Twitter should consider a dedicated Topic tab to make this process as painless as possible.

While Twitter does keep track of your activity and creates a profile of your interests, you can opt to turn off its suggested topics. These suggestions are based on your searches, what other people are searching for, and the likelihood that you’ll click on them. You can also choose to mute certain topics to see only those from your followers. If you’re unsure which options are right for you, start by following these users.

Unfollowing a topic in a web browser

You can stop Twitter from suggesting new topics based on your categories and likes. There are two ways to do this: the mobile app and the web browser. For the web browser, you can ignore the first step. In the “From Twitter” section, scroll down and deselect the options you don’t want to receive notifications about. Lastly, you can add a topic to your list of topics to be unfollowed in the future.

To stop Twitter from recommending topics based on your recent activity, you can unfollow any topic you have followed. To do this, sign into your Twitter account using your username and password. Then, navigate to the Explore tab and click on the magnifying glass icon. Select the topic you want to unfollow and click “Clear.” If you have a lot of topics in your feed, you can unfollow it and Twitter will stop suggesting new topics based on your recent activity.

Turning off Twitter’s recommendations

Many users have been frustrated by the frequent annoyance that recommended accounts bring to their feeds. Using the ‘you might be interested in’ section can be annoying and sometimes not even relevant to the topics you are searching for. To turn off these recommendations, follow the steps below. First, open the Twitter app and click on the three dots in the top left corner near the search bar. Next, select Settings. Scroll down to ‘Twitter Suggestions’ and uncheck the box next to ‘Suggest topics based on accounts you follow.’ Once done, you will no longer see any recommended tweets related to these topics.

You can also turn off these notifications in your settings. Currently, Twitter sends push notifications from a variety of accounts. You can disable these notifications by going to Settings > Notifications>Notifications. Alternatively, you can disable these notifications altogether by clicking ‘Stop receiving emails from Twitter’. The next time you want to check your recommended tweets, go to the Twitter app’s settings and tap ‘Notifications’.

How to Get Twitter to Stop Suggesting Topics If you are frustrated with notifications popping up on your Twitter account, you might be wondering how to get Twitter to stop suggesting topics.
