Currently, Musk faces a separate five-day trial before Judge McCormick on the pay package, which begins on October 24.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter sued Musk for violating its non-disclosure agreement by tweeting a Chuck Norris theme and a poop emoji. Twitter claims that Musk publicly disparaged its brand and violated the non-disparagement clause of the contract between the two companies. On Friday, Musk&#8217;s lawyers filed a motion for an expedited trial. If Musk is found guilty, the court will decide whether to dismiss the lawsuit or proceed with a speedy trial.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter sued Elon Musk on Tuesday, citing the negative impact of a prolonged legal battle.
