The new limit could be implemented late this quarter or early next year. Experts don&#8217;t yet know whether this change will change the way people use Twitter, or whether it will have a drastic impact on usage.<\/p>\n<p>There are many reasons for the change, including the fact that it doesn&#8217;t change the core Twitter experience, and won&#8217;t clog users&#8217; timelines. Twitter is still working out display options, and this change could happen as early as March. However, the company has received complaints about the limit.
