Well, you can change the default setting for caching, and disable auto-refresh. This article provides some useful tips for doing so. Also, you can disable auto-scrolling and auto-refresh. Once you have followed these steps, your Twitter experience should be smoother. You may want to try a few different methods until you find the one that works best for you.

Default setting for caching

The default setting for caching on Twitter is to display only the latest seven days of tweets. You may also enable the long-term persistent cache, which stores tweets in your WordPress database and may appear as “ctf_!_”. To disable the long-term persistent cache, simply uncheck the checkbox under “Enable persistent caching.” The cache will then be cleared and all tweets older than seven days will be permanently deleted.

Because Twitter is using a service-oriented architecture, it manages its own caching. A new cluster is provisioned semi-automatically based on requests. Twitter uses Twemcache, a fork of Memcached, a key-value cache, for most of its caching needs. Nighthawk, a Redis-based cache, also supports rich data structures and replication for high availability.

Changing caching level

In order to avoid your timeline from refreshing too often, try modifying the caching level of your browser. By doing so, Twitter will no longer automatically refresh your feed with new tweets. Instead, you can select when to load new tweets, clicking the tweet counter bar at the top of the timeline. This solution is new to the web platform and was first announced by Twitter in September. To prevent your timeline from constantly refreshing, change the caching level in your browser to “low”.

If the problem persists, you can try clearing the cache in your browser. If the problem persists, try clearing your browser cache by clicking on the “Cache” menu at the top right of the address bar. Once you’ve cleared your cache, try refreshing your browser. If the problem persists, try refreshing Twitter again using another browser. Alternatively, you can click the refresh button in the address bar while holding the Shift key.

Disabling auto-refresh

You may have noticed that some of your tweets are missing in action because your timeline is automatically refreshing. This is a problem that many Twitter users have complained about, and developers finally fixed the issue by disabling auto-refresh in November last year. It was annoying to keep refreshing your timeline every few minutes, and the developers said they wanted to remove the feature. However, there are many ways to disable auto-refresh on Twitter, so you can avoid this frustrating feature.

Many users reported issues with auto-refresh, including slow performance, crashes, and interruptions while composing tweets. Although Twitter promised that the update would silently insert tweets at the top of the timeline, users said it appears to happen randomly and interrupts their workflows. Regardless of your reason for disabling auto-refresh, this feature is still an important feature for users. It’s important to disable it to make your Twitter experience more convenient.

Disabling auto-scrolling

If you’re tired of seeing the same old Tweets over, disable auto-scrolling on Twitter. The Twitter app has an edge-to-edge design, which means that you can see more content at once, but the timeline will keep scrolling unless you tap on it. Disabling auto-scrolling will prevent the feed from refreshing, but you will still get notifications when new Tweets are posted.

Twitter recently fixed this issue by updating the platform. Before the update, users were experiencing the problem of tweets disappearing in the middle of reading them. Fortunately, the update is now available on the web platform, and users will not have to restart the app to see new tweets. Instead, they can load new tweets by clicking the tweet counter bar at the top of the timeline.

Using Twitter Blue

If you’re tired of having your timeline reload every few minutes, you can use the new feature called Twitter Blue. It adds a reader mode to Twitter, making it easier to read long threads without refreshing the whole page. And you can customize its icons and colors, too. The new feature is targeted at Twitter users who spend too much time on the site. You can use Twitter Blue to save tweets to your folders so that you can easily find them again later.

Using Twitter Blue is a subscription service that works with the web version of the service. It also allows you to undo tweets, view articles in ad-free mode, and customize your user experience. The service is currently available in Canada and Australia, but will soon be available in the U.S. and New Zealand. You can subscribe for CAD 3.49 per month. This is still an early stage of rollout, so you might want to test it out before making the purchase.

How to Stop Twitter From Refreshing Have you ever wondered how to stop Twitter from refreshing?
