After you&#8217;ve done either, you should be able to see tweets with&#8217;sensitive content&#8217; warnings.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Changing_the_sensitive_content_setting_on_Twitter\"><\/span>Changing the sensitive content setting on Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re on Twitter and you see a tweet containing potentially sensitive material, you may want to change the sensitive content setting. You can do this by signing in to Twitter and clicking the &#8220;Settings&#8221; tab. Under Privacy and Safety, you can choose to display sensitive content and uncheck the box. Twitter will warn you if a tweet contains content you find offensive. Alternatively, you can turn off sensitive content viewing all together.<\/p>\n<p>By default, Twitter will display a warning that says a tweet may be NSFW. If the content is too sensitive to display, you can turn off the setting and remove the sensitive warning. However, any images or media uploaded to your Twitter account will still be marked as sensitive. You can turn off this setting at any time. The sensitive content warning will not appear if you have not previously enabled it. However, if you are posting NSFW content, Twitter will mark your tweets as NSFW.<\/p>\n<p>To turn off the Sensitive Content warning on Twitter, go to your profile page and select &#8220;Settings and Privacy&#8221;. Next, tap on your profile picture and choose the &#8220;Edit&#8221; option. Scroll down until you see the &#8220;Sensitive Content&#8221; option. After doing this, you can mark sensitive content or hide it altogether. If you don&#8217;t want to show the warning, you can turn off this feature to make your tweets less offensive.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unblocking_tweets_with_a_potentially_sensitive_warning\"><\/span>Unblocking tweets with a &#8216;potentially sensitive&#8217; warning<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When using Twitter on your mobile device, you might have noticed that you get a &#8216;potentially sensitive&#8217; message when viewing certain tweets. In order to disable this message, follow the steps below. First, you should set up a Twitter account. Then, click the profile icon in the top left navigation bar. Now, when someone visits your profile, they may see the &#8216;potentially sensitive&#8217; message, but you will still see the account without any message.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve set up your Twitter account, you need to unblock tweets with potentially sensitive warnings. The problem is that the social network often misclassifies content as sensitive. To remove the message, go to your account settings and click on the &#8216;display sensitive content&#8217; option. If you&#8217;re not using an iOS device, go to your account settings on the web and change the setting.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve set up your Twitter account, you need to make sure that you don&#8217;t accidentally flag content with&#8217;sensitive&#8217; warnings. If you don&#8217;t flag tweets correctly, you&#8217;ll risk being suspended by Twitter. However, flagged tweets get less exposure, and won&#8217;t appear in organic feeds or search results. If they&#8217;re tagged as sensitive, it could contain adult, violent, or hateful content. If you want to see these tweets, you must sign in and change the display media settings on your Twitter account.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turning_off_the_setting\"><\/span>Turning off the setting<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Turning off the setting on Twitter to seesensitive content is easy. Simply go to the settings section, and then choose &#8220;Tweet media.&#8221; This setting is based on your legal status as an adult. When you are not viewing any media, you can toggle this setting off. This option will block sensitive content for anyone on the network, but not those you follow. If you don&#8217;t want to see content that could offend others, make sure to limit your social network usage to friends and family.<\/p>\n<p>Using Twitter as a social network gives you the power to control what others can see and can&#8217;t see. Thankfully, there are options to turn sensitive content off and mark specific posts as private. According to Twitter, sensitive content is anything that you wouldn&#8217;t want other people to see, including photos, links, and videos. It also explicitly mentions nudity and violence as examples of what you shouldn&#8217;t post.<\/p>\n<p>Turning off the setting on Twitter to see this content on mobile devices is simple. You just have to uncheck the box next to &#8220;Mark media you Tweet as containing sensitive content&#8221; and you&#8217;re good to go. This setting can be turned off on any device. Once you&#8217;ve disabled it, you&#8217;ll no longer see the &#8220;Tweet media containing sensitive content&#8221; message.
