You can then display only the tweets that mention these terms, while excluding tweets that mention the company or its employees.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Creating_a_twitter_stream\"><\/span>Creating a twitter stream<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve decided on a topic to follow, creating a Twitter stream is the next step. Streams can contain posts, replies, and quotes. These tweets can be filtered according to the keywords and categories you&#8217;ve chosen. You can customize your Twitter stream to suit your needs. To start, create an account, then select the board where you&#8217;d like to post your streams. Select Twitter from the list on the left and click the search tab. Then, type the keywords you want to monitor.<\/p>\n<p>To create a Twitter stream in HubSpot, navigate to Marketing &gt; Social and click on the &#8220;Twitter Streams&#8221; tab. Once there, you can enter the name of the stream and choose keywords to include in your stream. To limit the search terms, select a single keyword and make sure the tweet contains at least one keyword. Once you&#8217;ve selected your keywords, you can add as many as five to seven keywords.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Searching_for_streams\"><\/span>Searching for streams<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are several ways to search for streams on Twitter. First, you can type a specific keyword into the search box. Similarly, you can use the hashtags or general search terms to find relevant results. Once you&#8217;ve entered the keywords, search for the relevant Twitter stream and click the Follow button. Twitter users will appear in your search results in chronological order. You can also sort results by most recent or newest. Here are some useful tips for finding streams on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>Using Twitter&#8217;s search function is easy. You can create multiple streams based on different keywords. A quick search is a great way to find trending topics, hashtags, and users in a matter of seconds. Just make sure to connect your account to the search box and choose &#8220;trending topics.&#8221; To filter the results, type keywords in the text box. This will remove tweets that mention your brand but are not directed to your official account.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Filtering_tweets_by_hashtag_or_topic\"><\/span>Filtering tweets by hashtag or topic<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are many advantages of filtering tweets by topic or hashtag. It can make your search results more relevant and increase engagement. With more than 140 characters available, hashtags allow you to narrow your search results to the exact topics and people you&#8217;re interested in. They&#8217;re also useful for boosting your brand&#8217;s exposure on Twitter. To maximize the effectiveness of your hashtag searches, remember to use them in the main body of your tweet or in a string of hashtags at the end of your message. Remember to follow the character limit of Twitter when composing your tweets, and use hashtags only in the context of the content.<\/p>\n<p>When selecting a hashtag to use, make sure the ratio of words to hashtags is at least one to one. Otherwise, the hashtag will simply become gibberish and no one will read it. Use only one hashtag for each topic. When searching for a trending topic on Twitter, you&#8217;ll likely find tweets that don&#8217;t have hashtags at all. The ratio of hashtags to words is approximately 2:1, so it&#8217;s best to use hashtags that relate to the topic you&#8217;re interested in.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Hide_tweets_from_certain_accounts\"><\/span>Hide tweets from certain accounts<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to keep your Twitter conversation clean and tidy, you can choose to hide tweets from certain accounts. Rather than deleting all of the replies to a tweet, you can hide those that cause you upset or make you feel uncomfortable. If you want to prevent pile-ons, you can also block certain accounts. Thankfully, Twitter has made this feature available to all of its users. Just follow these steps for an effective Twitter moderation process.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve set your settings, you&#8217;ll see a new &#8220;Hide Tweet&#8221; option when you click on a tweet. This option is more discrete, but still accessible through the &#8220;Share&#8221; button. This feature is intended to give you more control over your conversations, and it&#8217;s an alternative to the muting feature that Twitter currently offers. Moreover, a new option called &#8220;View Hidden Tweets&#8221; is in the works, allowing you to see hidden tweets that were previously hidden by the person who posted them.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Managing_streams_in_HubSpot\"><\/span>Managing streams in HubSpot<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can manage Twitter streams in HubSpot in a few different ways. You can create a stream and choose how many followers to have, as well as the settings for your followers. You can also select which tweets you want to see, and you can choose to make these streams private. To get started, navigate to the Marketing &gt; Social tab in HubSpot and click the &#8216;Twitter&#8217; link. You can then change the settings for the stream and choose whether you want to see all tweets in that stream.<\/p>\n<p>When using social media for content marketing, you have to ensure that your audience is seeing fresh content regularly.
