But before you create your own tweets, it&#8217;s helpful to learn how the pros do it.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Retweet\"><\/span>Retweet<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Retweeting a Tweet on Twitter is a great way to share your content with your followers. If you are using the iPhone app, you can only see your three most recent Tweets when you click on the Retweet icon. Moreover, you can&#8217;t copy and paste content from other sites to your profile, which may violate your author&#8217;s copyright. Here&#8217;s how to properly use Retweets on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>A retweet with comment, like a Facebook share, allows you to add your comments to the original post. When you retweet something on Twitter, it will appear on your followers&#8217; feeds and profiles. Note that you can&#8217;t use GIFs or videos with retweets, but you can use the Quote Tweet feature to include them. These are the two most common ways to share a link.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"mention\"><\/span>@mention<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The best way to leverage @mentions when tweeting on Twitter is to mention someone in your tweet. This can help you build relationships, as users who mention you will be sure to reply with an @mention. Then, these conversations will appear in their streams, giving you the chance to engage in a conversation with influencers and gain recognition. To get started, follow these steps:<\/p>\n<p>As a user, you can endorse other users by using the @mention function when tweeting. This feature is especially useful if you want to build a following for your Twitter account. A popular tweet chat is FollowFriday, where users recommend each other to their social networks. With @mentions, you can also endorse a company, product, or event that you support. However, there is a chance that some companies have abused this feature. However, Twitter is working to implement a new feature that will allow users to choose how they are mentioned.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"280-character_limit\"><\/span>280-character limit<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The 280-character limit on Twitter has both proponents and opponents. Some Twitter users are thrilled about this new feature, while others dread the proliferation of long hot takes. There will be a sudden spike in the number of long tweets, and the rest of the Twitter population will quickly taper back down to 140 characters. In reality, people have short attention spans, and long tweets aren&#8217;t necessary.<\/p>\n<p>The increase in word length in tweets was particularly noticeable after the CLC. Overall, more than 30% of the Tweets contained question marks. Even though this limit increases the number of words per tweet, the word count per tweet does not increase significantly. This change also increased the length of Tweets by around 20 characters. Despite the increase in tweet length, the majority of tweets remained under 140 characters. Even so, users aren&#8217;t using the extra space.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Using_POWER_WORDS\"><\/span>Using POWER WORDS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You must be able to find powerful words and phrases to use in your tweets. The words you use to create the tweets have a few seconds to grab people&#8217;s attention. Boring copy won&#8217;t cut it. Instead, you must use words that will crush the competition. This is something I learned from Hubspot&#8217;s email system, which is genius and leads to maximum productivity. The words you use should help your audience connect with your brand.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Setting_up_a_profile_page\"><\/span>Setting up a profile page<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To make the most of your Twitter account, you need to set up a profile page. It will include your Twitter handle, hashtags and keywords so that people in your niche can find you easily. Creating an excellent profile will also earn you a decent number of followers. These followers can help you grow your business by creating brand awareness. In this article, we&#8217;ll discuss some of the ways to create a Twitter profile page.<\/p>\n<p>Set up a Twitter account is easy. You can start by entering a valid email address and verifying it with a code sent to your phone. When you receive the code, copy it and paste it in the appropriate field to complete the process. Next, you can choose your profile picture. Make sure that the image you choose is not larger than 400&#215;400 pixels. If you don&#8217;t want to include a bio, you can skip the section. Try typing in relevant hashtags into the search bar to find people who tweet about a specific topic. For example, typing in #ufc will lead you to people who tweet about mixed-martial-arts. Another great tool to use when searching for hashtags is Hashtagify. This service will show you recent tweets that contain the specific hashtag.<\/p>\n<p>Another way to increase your Twitter account is to spend time engaging with other people and posting consistently. Doing so will help you grow your followers without making your account look like a robot. Try engaging with people on Twitter &#8211; not just your customers, but also with industry leaders. By regularly engaging with people, you will show them that you are real. One-word replies do not work. Try giving detailed answers to their questions.
