If you don&#8217;t want to see news about tragedies or other disturbing content, you can turn off sensitive content warnings on Twitter.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_off_sensitive_content_warnings_on_Twitter\"><\/span>Turn off sensitive content warnings on Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can turn off the sensitivity warning on Twitter on desktop by following a few simple steps. First, sign into your Twitter account and select Settings. Next, tap on Privacy and Safety. Scroll down to your Profile Photo, and then tap on the Settings and Privacy tab. In the Privacy and Safety section, you&#8217;ll see a toggle button labeled &#8220;Display media that might contain sensitive content.&#8221; Tap on this toggle to disable the warning. The sensitivity warning will no longer appear when you browse your timeline or use the search bar.<\/p>\n<p>To disable the sensitive content warning, go to your account settings in your PC or mobile device. To do so, open the settings menu on your PC and then tap on &#8216;Privacy and safety&#8217;. You can also choose to enable the sensitive content warning on your mobile device. If you have a mobile device, you must open the Twitter app in Safari or Google Chrome and follow the instructions in the instructions above. Once the warning is disabled, simply sign out of your Twitter account and log in again.<\/p>\n<p>Another way to turn off sensitive content warnings on Twitter is to remove the media filter that Twitter has added to its website. The warning appears when someone posts media that might be NSFW. However, most users would rather not see content that is considered &#8220;NSFW.&#8221; To prevent the warning from appearing, make sure you turn off the sensitive content warning on Twitter. This way, you can see everything on the website without worrying about inappropriate content.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Change_your_privacy_settings_on_Twitter\"><\/span>Change your privacy settings on Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can change your privacy settings on Twitter to prevent anyone from seeing the details you share. By default, people can view everything you post. To protect yourself, you should select Medium level protection. This will ensure that only people you&#8217;ve approved can see your tweets. To change your privacy level on Twitter, go to settings &gt; privacy. Then, tap the &#8220;Privacy and safety&#8221; tab. You can also change your settings to limit who can view your tweets and photos.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want others to see your posts and photos, you can disable data collection and personalization. You can also choose whether to opt out of data tracking and personalized ads. To do so, visit the Settings page on Twitter and select the toggle switch. This will show the privacy settings for you. You can also opt-out of other features provided by the social network. To make sure your privacy is not compromised, go to Settings &gt; Privacy.<\/p>\n<p>In the Privacy and Safety tab, look for the section marked &#8220;Tweet media.&#8221; Make sure that you check the option that says &#8220;Mark media you Tweet as potentially sensitive.&#8221; If you don&#8217;t change the settings on Twitter, you might end up getting a warning that your tweets contain adult content. However, this warning doesn&#8217;t mean that your tweets won&#8217;t get published. Twitter&#8217;s security policies will protect you from being accused of spamming.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Uncheck_the_box_for_Personalized_ads_on_Twitter\"><\/span>Uncheck the box for Personalized ads on Twitter<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re unhappy with the amount of personal ads appearing on your Twitter account, you can opt out of them all at once. To do this, go to your account settings and uncheck the box next to &#8220;promoted content.&#8221; This will ensure that Twitter won&#8217;t match your account information to any ad partners, making it difficult to customize ads based on your interests. Here are some other ways to opt out of Twitter&#8217;s personalized ads.<\/p>\n<p>When you first sign up on Twitter, you can view the categories in which you have been targeted by advertisements. Your interests are categorised on the site based on what you like to read or watch. You can uncheck categories that are inaccurate and turn off tracking. Alternatively, you can uncheck all of them, which is better if you&#8217;re adamantly opposed to having your data used by third parties.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter collects your list of installed apps from your device, which it uses to target your adverts. You can choose not to display these ads on your device, which is helpful if you&#8217;re trying to target ads based on your interests. Twitter also tries to associate your account with each device you use.
