Fans can pay to leave a comment on their favorite videos, or they can opt to receive messages in real time. Paid comments will be highlighted on videos and in live streams, and creators will be able to click through these messages. Super Chat replaces Fan Funding, but the purpose of the new tool is to allow fans to communicate with creators in real time. It will allow creators to prioritize messages from fans, which means that they can respond quickly and efficiently to their viewers.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Creators_receive_70_per_cent_of_the_money_from_all_Super_Thanks_messages\"><\/span>Creators receive 70 per cent of the money from all Super Thanks messages<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In addition to Adsense, creators get a share of the Super Thanks money. They get 70 per cent of the money from all Super Thanks messages on YouTube. This program lets users leave small donations ranging from $2 to $50. It is available to creators and viewers in 68 countries, and is compatible with most devices, including mobile phones. Not all types of videos qualify for Super Thanks, including age-restricted content, unlisted videos, and those that are offensive.<\/p>\n<p>The new feature allows viewers to monetarily thank their favorite YouTube creators and channel owners. All they have to do is click on the &#8220;Thanks&#8221; button while watching a video to post a colorful message. The Super Thanks button is also visible alongside the thumbs up, dislike, and share buttons. When viewers click the Super Thanks button, a heart with a money sign symbol will appear below the video title.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the new feature, creators can now earn more from their content. Besides ad revenue, creators can now sell animated images called &#8220;Super Stickers&#8221; and send them to their subscribers via live chat. Similarly, creators can also sell products through merch bookshelves to their subscribers. But be warned, creators are not solely at the mercy of the merch conversion rates. It is an invitation-only program, so the revenue share is not revealed yet. Only high-traffic channels participate in this program. Super Stickers are animated stickers that fans can purchase during live streams. They will be available in different categories and designs, and have the same eligibility requirements as Super Chats.<\/p>\n<p>New ways to monetize your YouTube channel are available for video creators. Creators will be able to sell &#8220;Super Stickers&#8221; to their fans during live streams. These are animated gifs that appear on the live chat of a video. YouTube is also rolling out various levels of channel memberships. For instance, channel members can choose to view more exclusive content or access higher-quality features.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube is constantly adding features to increase revenue for creators. Super Chat allows viewers to pay for pinable comments during live streams. The cash symbol appears in the chat window and viewers can click on it to send the highlighted comment. The feature is available to creators in eligible countries. The super chat option has helped creators earn over $400 per minute. However, this service keeps the connections between creators and fans meaningful and adds a new revenue stream to the creators&#8217; arsenal.<\/p>\n<p>Currently, this feature is only available to creators who are part of the YouTube Partner Program. Creators can check if they&#8217;re eligible to participate in this program by visiting their Partner Program profile and looking for Supers in Monetization. YouTube has praised the initiative and has promised that Super Thanks will be available to all YPP members by 2021. It&#8217;s the next best thing to an Applause feature &#8211; after all, it&#8217;s an instant way for viewers to express their gratitude to their favorite creators.
