First of all, open Settings and tap the gear icon. Choose Apps and Notifications. Scroll down to YouTube and select the app. You may need to select “See all apps” or “All apps” depending on your settings. Finally, tap “Uninstall” and confirm the uninstall.

Blocking YouTube videos at the app level helps parents avoid being exposed to it in an uncontrolled manner

One way to limit screen time for children is to block YouTube videos. YouTube is divided into channels organized by user, so parents can control which videos their kids see and where. Some channels may contain contentious subjects and push specific ideas. Blocking videos from YouTube at the app level can help parents avoid this situation. YouTube apps are available for both iOS and Android. Listed below are some ways to block YouTube videos and manage the amount of time your child spends on each channel.

Another way to block YouTube videos is to turn off autoplay. Autoplay automatically starts a video when the browser or app loads, and can distract your child, especially if the volume is up. To turn off autoplay, select the option that reads “Click here to stop autoplay.” This will prevent the screen from switching videos automatically and give you more control over what your child sees.

Google Restricted Mode can help you keep children safe on YouTube. However, this doesn’t work as well as you’d hoped. Restricted Mode doesn’t understand video context 100% of the time, so it may not identify inappropriate content if the author uses clean language. Furthermore, if your child disables Restricted Mode by themselves, they can simply turn it off.

Restricting YouTube on a computer or mobile device

Restricting YouTube on a computer or a mobile device can be a great option for censoring content and keeping your kids safe. The restricted mode on YouTube is an optional feature that you can enable or disable. This mode filters the content you can see on the site and will prevent you from seeing offensive videos. If you’re using a computer, make sure you’re logged in and you can turn off the restricted mode.

Restricted mode is a good option for those who want to filter adult content from the site. This mode is easy to turn on and off, and prevents your kids from watching videos with mature content. The restricted mode is also useful for libraries, schools, and other public institutions, as they can block mature content and prevent their students from watching inappropriate content. Once you’ve enabled the restriction mode, you can turn it back on by visiting the YouTube settings page and entering your login information.

If you’d prefer to disable the Restricted Mode on your Android or iOS device, open the YouTube app and click the profile picture icon. Select “Settings” from the menu at the top right corner. Choose “General” from the settings menu. If you’re using an iPhone, you should select “General” instead of “Settings”.

Setting schedule digest time on YouTube

You can customize the notifications that are sent to your phone by setting a schedule digest time on the YouTube app. This feature combines all your push notifications from the entire day into a single notification called Scheduled Digest. You can also choose to disable vibrations and sounds during certain times of the day. To do so, go to Settings > Notifications and tap the option to disable sounds and vibrations. This way, you’ll only receive notifications at specific times.

To enable the Scheduled Digest feature, open the YouTube app. Tap the profile icon to access the settings. Scroll down to the section labeled “Delivery time.” Here, you can customize the time at which notifications are delivered. By default, this is set to 7 PM. You can change this time to a specific time by tapping the toggle switch next to the Default digest option. Once you’ve done that, you’ll receive notifications only when you’ve logged in to your YouTube account.

After setting the time for your daily digest, you’ll be reminded to take a break. To do this, sign in to your YouTube account and tap Settings. Tap Remind to take a break. Tap the corresponding option and choose 1 hour. Once this time is over, enjoy your YouTube sessions without being interrupted by notifications. Once you’re done, you’ll see the prompt to take a break and return to your previous viewing.

How to Disable YouTube on Your Android Device If you are having trouble controlling your children’s exposure to YouTube, you may be wondering how to disable YouTube on your Android device.
