YouTube&#8217;s ad revenue accounts for almost half of its total revenue, which is a huge number. For example, if a video containing a cat video gets 1 million views, the advertiser will pay $10 per 1,000 ad impressions.<\/p>\n<p>YouTube&#8217;s cost per thousand ad views ranges from $0.010 to $0.030, so it is possible to spend up to $2 or more per thousand impressions. Most businesses start by investing $10 per day on YouTube advertising, but they increase their investment as they see its effectiveness.
