Your query and donation amount will appear in the chat window, and the creator will respond to your message.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"YouTubes_Super_Chat\"><\/span>YouTube&#8217;s Super Chat<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re a live streamer and you&#8217;d like to get your comments highlighted, you can do so by using YouTube&#8217;s new Super Chat feature. Once you&#8217;ve enabled Super Chat, you&#8217;ll be able to see every comment that&#8217;s been paid for. In addition to highlighting paid comments, you&#8217;ll also be able to block any comments you find abusive or inappropriate. However, before you can enable Super Chat, you must first enable it on your own account.<\/p>\n<p>While the purpose of YouTube&#8217;s Super Chat is to connect fans with creators, it can also be a lucrative source of additional income. Creators receive about 70 percent of the income from the live streams, but the ISD report asserts that Google keeps the remaining 70%. That&#8217;s one of the reasons why YouTubers should consider hiring moderators to moderate the live stream. Additionally, they can use an optional feature called &#8220;flag offensive comments&#8221; to restrict specific words. Any comments with these words will be blocked during live streams. Likewise, the creator can choose to donate the revenue to a charity if they choose to do so.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"It_allows_viewers_to_show_appreciation_to_their_favorite_creators\"><\/span>It allows viewers to show appreciation to their favorite creators<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>YouTube has been adding features to engage creators and monetize their content for years. One of these new features, Super Chat, allows viewers to pay to &#8216;pin&#8217; comments they like on live streams. This feature allows viewers to choose whether they want the comment to be highlighted or not, and a cash icon will appear in the chat window when the video goes live. If the creator has set the Super Chat price to &#8216;$10,&#8217; viewers will see the price, and they can choose the amount they want to spend.<\/p>\n<p>While YouTube promotes Super Chat as a personal way for viewers to support their favorite creators, it is important to remember that a small percentage of contributions will be used for promotional purposes. The better the promotion, the more chances you&#8217;ll have of getting more contributions in Super Chat. To get more viewers to donate, you can use Stories, YouTube Community tab, and other social networks to advertise your live stream. And you should promote it even after it ends.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"It_allows_creators_to_monetize_on_the_platform\"><\/span>It allows creators to monetize on the platform<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>YouTube is rolling out a new feature called Super Chat that gives creators an easy way to monetize on their live streams. Essentially, this feature is a paid instant message or comment that stays highlighted for up to five hours. While the feature is currently in limited beta with a few partners, a wider rollout is expected by the end of January. To get started, creators should sign up for the beta before it opens to the general public.<\/p>\n<p>To turn Super Chat on, creators must first enable the feature in their settings. When Super Chat is enabled, they&#8217;ll see a dollar sign symbol next to the comment field. The creator can then click on the icon to donate to their channel. These comments will appear in a different color than other messages and will be visible to any viewer tuned into the live stream. This feature is now available globally, but you can start testing it in your country before it goes live. Hence, it is recommended to take measures to prevent trolls from using them.<\/p>\n<p>For the Super Chat feature to work, all you need is a YouTube channel and an AdSense account. After that, you can begin promoting your upcoming livestreams on YouTube, and you will receive money in exchange. The Super Chat also lets you add Super Stickers, which are animated images that stand out.
