Her two sisters are Susan, the current CEO of YouTube, and Janet, an anthropologist and epidemiologist at the University of California. Anne was the youngest of the three sisters.<\/p>\n<p>Before joining YouTube, Wojcicki was working as a marketing manager for 23andMe. Throughout her tenure there, she was constantly shushed by the many people who passed her at work. She was a bit embarrassed to wear her badge at work and at home. In addition to her husband, she had a long-term relationship with Google co-founder Sergey Brin, who has become the world&#8217;s sixth-richest man. Wojcicki and Brin were married in 2007 and divorced in 2015. They shared a family office until late 2017, though the terms have not been revealed.<\/p>\n<p>Anne Wojcicki is a serial entrepreneur. She started her company, 23andMe, after completing college. Her goal was to help people learn about their genetic makeup. She decided to skip medical school, and instead, decided to work on her own projects. Among her early ventures, she co-founded 23andMe, a direct-to-consumer DNA testing company. The company allows people to know more about their health and ancestry.
