When it comes to commercials on live television, however, you can&#8217;t fast-forward them on YouTube. Using the YouTube app, you just double-tap the video to rewind or skip ahead. Double-taping will skip up to 10 seconds each time. To add family members, you must first create a family group. To add family members, you must send invitation emails to the people in your family. Once they accept, click &#8220;Join Family&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>To add a family member, you can enter his or her name and email address in the &#8220;Add Family Members&#8221; section of the app. To add the person, the family manager should wait for 14 days to confirm the invitation. After the family member accepts the invitation, you will receive a message with a confirmation link. You can then invite the family member to become a member of YouTube TV. This is useful for logging into your account and avoiding duplicate episodes. Although this isn&#8217;t currently offered on YouTube TV, the platform will soon add this feature. You can also adjust the video quality to decrease data use while watching shows. If you don&#8217;t mind not having the mark-as-watched feature, it&#8217;s still a great feature to have.<\/p>\n<p>Users can have as many as 6 profiles on their YouTube TV account. Having more than one profile will influence how the service recommends content and which channels it recommends. You can also invite up to 5 alternative members of your family to use the YouTube TV service. Depending on how many profiles you have, you can watch up to six different channels at once.
