Users can add words, phrases, and emojis that they find offensive to a custom word list. If a message contains these words, they won&#8217;t appear in DM requests, comments, or messages. To make this work, users must toggle the &#8220;hide message requests&#8221; setting in their settings.<\/p>\n<p>To filter comments, simply select the words that you want blocked from your feed. You can also enter offensive words directly into the text box. You must separate offensive words with commas. In addition, you can edit your comment settings on the Instagram website. You can also choose to censor certain words, or block them altogether. Once you&#8217;ve done this, you&#8217;re ready to start filtering comments. You can also turn on the feature by ensuring that your device is set to use the auto-caption feature. This feature appears as white text on a dark gray underlay. It is a nice addition for accessibility, and makes video editing faster and easier.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Automatic_updates\"><\/span>Automatic updates<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>One way to fix this is to turn on automatic updates for Instagram. To do this, open the app and choose the Menu on the top right corner. Next, select Settings and then tap on the App Updates section. Toggle on the Auto-update Instagram switch and your phone will download the latest version. This is a quick and easy way to ensure your Instagram app is always up-to-date. But be aware that if you decide not to turn on automatic updates, your Instagram app will stop working!<\/p>\n<p>You can delay the process of automatic updates for Instagram as well. But you should keep in mind that the updates are essential because of the frequent updates in Instagram.
