The social networking website has changed the configuration of its website, forcing a massive logout. The company blamed the change on &#8220;configuration issues,&#8221; but has since confirmed that the issue has affected a few users. Users have been logged out repeatedly, receiving the message &#8220;session expired,&#8221; and having to log in again to continue using the site. Facebook has yet to address the issue on its official website or in a press release.<\/p>\n<p>There are several reasons why Facebook auto-logouts occur. Sometimes it&#8217;s due to the Internet browser or the app itself. In this case, troubleshooting your computer may solve the issue. Otherwise, you may have to wait until the problem is fixed on the site. If you&#8217;ve tried the steps listed above, and still have the problem, contact Facebook&#8217;s help centre. Its specialists will be able to fix the problem as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Signing_out_of_Facebook\"><\/span>Signing out of Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;re having trouble logging out of Facebook, try deleting your session&#8217;s cookies. Most tech problems are solved by restarting the device. This will bring the device back to a fresh state and remove any data that is still stored on it. Restarting your device should work to fix 90% of the problems, so you should try this first. If that still doesn&#8217;t work, check your Internet connection. If your connection is weak or fluctuating, it could be affecting your access to the Facebook website.<\/p>\n<p>Restarting your device after logging off may fix the problem, but you should make sure you&#8217;ve closed all running applications before restarting your phone. Restarting your device will also refresh the entire system and stop any unnecessary apps from running in the background. This can affect the performance of other apps on your device. It will also reconnect you to your internet connection.
