You can no longer see messages from non-friends. This issue is due to a few reasons. It may be that your Facebook server is offline. Then, your Facebook messenger app won&#8217;t work. If this is the case, there are some things you can do to get rid of this issue. Read on to find out how to fix this problem.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unfriending_or_blocking_non-friends_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Unfriending or blocking non-friends on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When you&#8217;ve reached the end of your friendship with a person, you can decide whether to unfriend them or block them. Essentially, blocking a person makes them invisible to you. While blocking someone prevents them from viewing your profile, it will also prevent them from posting to your Timeline. However, unfriending someone will not automatically make them invisible to your friends. Unfriending will keep your Facebook friends list clean, but it won&#8217;t stop people from communicating with each other.<\/p>\n<p>There are several reasons why you may want to unfriend someone. Sometimes, you simply want to weed out your friend list. This means unfollowing people you don&#8217;t stay in touch with or don&#8217;t know very well. Or, you may want to block people based on content, such as political views, spam posts, and negative comments. In extreme cases, you may find that the person is stalking you.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Finding_hidden_messages\"><\/span>Finding hidden messages<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you are not able to find messages on Facebook, you&#8217;re not alone. Thousands of people use Facebook Messenger to communicate with other people. But if you have not been able to see any of them, you might not even know they exist. Fortunately, there&#8217;s a way to find any hidden messages on Facebook. First, open the Facebook Messenger app. Then, select the profile photo of the person you want to read. Next, tap &#8216;You May Know&#8217; or &#8216;Spam&#8217; from the menu that appears. Once you&#8217;ve done that, you can view and reply to any message sent to you.<\/p>\n<p>Messages from people you don&#8217;t know are hidden. They&#8217;re located in a section called Message Requests. In Messenger, this is the easiest way to view hidden messages. You can also view hidden conversations by visiting their profile page in the Messages section. To do this, you&#8217;ll need to have the person&#8217;s permission. Then, you can search through the conversations they&#8217;ve sent.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Archived_chats\"><\/span>Archived chats<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to find out if your Facebook friends are messaging you but you don&#8217;t want them to see them, you can archive chats. The Messenger app allows you to archive a chat by clicking the three-dot menu button and choosing Archived. Once archived, a chat will appear in your main list when you send a message. To archive a chat, click on the conversation you wish to keep.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook Messenger is the latest messaging app available. This app allows you to send and receive messages from anyone, including people you&#8217;re not friends with. When a message is sent, it shows a simple connection and sender information, but it doesn&#8217;t show whether the recipient is online. If you&#8217;d like to read who sent the message, however, you can tap on the &#8220;Chat&#8221; button on the top right corner of the screen and select &#8220;New Message.&#8221; After you have entered the recipient&#8217;s name, hit the &#8220;Enter&#8221; key.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Message_requests\"><\/span>Message requests<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>In the past, messages from non-friends were hidden in a separate folder known as &#8220;messaging requests.&#8221; Now, users can see messages from non-friends by opening a conversation and tapping the three dots on the upper right corner. You can then type in the person&#8217;s name and see if they have a Messenger account. If you do, you can add them as a friend.<\/p>\n<p>To see messages from non-friends, simply go to the &#8220;requests&#8221; folder on Facebook. You will find the folder two menus deep.
