Unlike previous orders, the privacy committee will have no authority to fire or remove Facebook employees without due cause.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reporting_it_to_Facebook\"><\/span>Reporting it to Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Restrictions on Facebook accounts are like temporary bans, and can prevent you from accessing some of the most important features of the social network. Facebook restricts access to accounts when someone repeatedly violates the Community Standards. If you&#8217;ve seen a post you disagree with, report it. If you&#8217;d like Facebook to remove it, you can report it anonymously, but don&#8217;t expect them to. It&#8217;s not your fault if you report a post, and the number of reports does not determine whether or not it is removed.<\/p>\n<p>When you get a warning email, check to see if the restriction was due to content you posted. If it&#8217;s related to copyrighted material, or a post promoting violence, your account could be restricted. Facebook may even suspend your account without warning if you fail to meet certain criteria. In these cases, you can appeal the restriction.
