Facebook recently rolled out an update that allows you to create your very own cartoon avatar. Avatars are animated images that represent you on Facebook, and are used for comments, stories, and messages. You can even use them as stickers on other platforms such as Snapchat and Mail.<\/p>\n<p>While creating your Avatar, you&#8217;ll want to choose an outfit and skin tone. You can change things like your hairstyle, your skin tone, and even your face shape. You can even add different types of makeup, or choose a different nose or body shape. You can see yourself in the preview while customizing your Avatar. If you&#8217;re finished, you can click on the pencil icon on the top right corner of your avatar to make changes.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_off_avatar_protection\"><\/span>Turn off avatar protection<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Changing your Facebook avatar is easy if you know how to do it correctly. To do so, log into your Facebook account and click on the &#8216;Avatar&#8217; interface. Click on the pencil icon at the top right of the screen to edit your current avatar. From there, click the &#8216;on&#8217; button to activate the Facebook avatar protection shield. You can change your skin tone, hairstyle, color, and eye and nose shapes. Even change your body shape if you want. You can edit your avatar on the mobile app, too. Tap the hamburger icon in the app&#8217;s bottom-right corner to start the process. You can also add more than one image to your profile. You can share your updated Facebook avatar in your News Feed, too.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve selected the image that you want, go to the settings menu. You&#8217;ll find a button to &#8220;Edit an existing Facebook avatar.&#8221; Select this option to change the shape of your head and facial features. First, open up the app and go to your profile. To preview your new Avatar, tap the mirror icon under the tick icon. This will show you how your new look will look against your current profile picture. You can also share your Avatar using stickers.<\/p>\n<p>To change your Facebook avatar, go to the profile picture section and select &#8220;Set as Profile Picture.&#8221; You can do this in the same way as the desktop version. If you&#8217;re using a mobile device, you can find the &#8220;All shortcuts&#8221; option in the toolbar. You can change the avatar pose or background. You can choose a full-body, upper body, or close-up avatar, and use it anywhere you like.
