Because users often use Facebook to share photos, videos, and books, the cognitive abilities of Facebook users are compromised. The cognitive capabilities needed for such tasks are impaired when the user has many simultaneous tasks. It is common for Facebook users to take breaks from work to browse their friends&#8217; profiles, which is a waste of time.
