While this was guaranteed to never happen during the acquisition process, the new development makes it the first Oculus headset that requires Facebook integration. Users will have to link their Facebook accounts before they can use their headset, and then wait for a verification process that involves photograph verification and can take up to three months.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook&#8217;s new account verification policy for Oculus Quest 2 is a major setback for owners. This new policy will result in many people having to start from scratch. Facebook is reportedly using an agent designed to analyze data from users&#8217; Facebook accounts to make sure that they&#8217;re real. In the meantime, it may be time to try a different login method. However, the Facebook verification process for the Quest 2 could be a long and difficult process for some people.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Oculus_Quest_2_price\"><\/span>Oculus Quest 2 price<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve been looking for an Oculus Quest 2 headset but haven&#8217;t seen the price online, don&#8217;t fret. This version of the VR headset does not allow access to Facebook data, and therefore, it&#8217;s a little more expensive than the regular version.<\/p>\n<p>The Oculus Quest 2 has the same hardware as the original but comes with a number of improvements. The weight and balance of the headset are significantly improved in the Quest 2. The company has a policy on data collection and doesn&#8217;t make the value of the data clear. You can, however, buy the Quest 2 for business at a lower price without a Facebook account. Its price is $799. You&#8217;ll also need to pay an annual fee of $180, which covers Oculus&#8217; business services and support.<\/p>\n<p>The Quest 2 comes with a display resolution of nearly 4K and two-K resolution for each eye. That&#8217;s fifty percent higher than the first Quest, which had only two-k resolution. It also has a larger storage capacity, although users should be aware that the apps are taking up more space. The base model comes with 128GB of storage, but you can also opt for a 256-GB version if you&#8217;re a serious gamer.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Oculus_Quest_2_release_date\"><\/span>Oculus Quest 2 release date<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The Oculus Quest 2 headset is the successor to the wildly popular Quest VR headset. It will feature a new LCD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor, and up to 6GB of RAM. The new headset will also feature a higher-resolution, 1832 x 1920 pixel display per eye. It will also support up to a 90Hz refresh rate, a feature that will initially be available only as an experimental feature, but will be unlocked by default later. The Quest 2 headset will also feature the same lenses as the original Quest, with the ability to adjust IPD to three different physical settings.<\/p>\n<p>The Oculus Quest 2 headset will go on sale on October 13, 2020. The headset is available for pre-order beginning today, and will cost between $300 and $400 depending on storage size. The device will also feature some new content, including exclusive VR games such as The Climb 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Battle Sister. It will also support PC VR games.
