Dark mode is much more appealing and will make your page look more professional.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Enabling_dark_mode_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Enabling dark mode on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can enable dark mode on Facebook by going into the settings menu. This option is found in the settings section, and it&#8217;s also found under the privacy tab. You can turn on this feature automatically if you&#8217;d prefer. Dark mode on Facebook will make your page look more visually appealing than the standard white background. If you&#8217;re using an older browser, you&#8217;ll need to switch to the New Facebook to enable it.<\/p>\n<p>Activate the dark mode on Facebook by visiting the settings menu. Click on the downward arrow icon located near the top right corner of the screen. Scroll down to the display &amp; accessibility option and choose the option that says &#8216;Dark mode&#8217;. Click the &#8216;On&#8217; toggle to enable dark mode, and then click the &#8216;Off&#8217; toggle to turn it off. You can also access this menu from anywhere on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>You can enable dark mode on Facebook on both your desktop and mobile device. You can enable it automatically or manually. Just be sure to check the version you have installed on your phone. This feature is first available on iOS and Android devices in October 2020. The Facebook app has a new update that adds support for dark mode, and you can install it on your mobile device if you want. But if you don&#8217;t want to wait until October 2020 to enable it, you can disable it by following the steps below.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Switching_between_light_and_dark_mode_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Switching between light and dark mode on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To switch between light and dark mode on Facebook, go to your device&#8217;s settings. Under the Legal and Policies section, tap the About link. Next to the dark theme, tap the switch to enable it. Then, tap on the &#8220;Dark&#8221; tab in the left pane. This setting will turn your Facebook experience into a dark one. It will also save battery life, and reduce strain on your eyes at night.<\/p>\n<p>To enable dark mode on Facebook, you need to log in to your account. Click on the Menu icon at the top of your Facebook homepage. Next, select Settings and Privacy. A drop-down menu will appear. Scroll down until you see Dark Mode. If you need to click again, simply select it again. Click on the toggle to enable it. Then, select the option &#8220;Dark Mode&#8221; and you&#8217;re done!<\/p>\n<p>Facebook hasn&#8217;t been as quick to adopt dark mode, but it has made good progress recently. You can now toggle between light and dark modes within the Facebook app on desktop. The new dark mode isn&#8217;t limited to desktop computers. If you prefer a mobile version, you can also set your device&#8217;s dark mode for later use. Then, you&#8217;ll be able to change the colors in your desktop version.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Benefits_of_dark_mode_on_Facebook\"><\/span>Benefits of dark mode on Facebook<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To benefit your eyesight, turning on the dark mode on Facebook is a great idea. By default, the social media platform&#8217;s desktop website is white, so switching to a dark background will make text easier to read and less strain on your eyes. Studies also show that reducing blue light during the evening will improve sleep quality. However, if you use Facebook during the day, you&#8217;re probably too tired to use this feature.<\/p>\n<p>Another benefit is that dark mode will reduce the amount of battery life your mobile phone will use. The bright white of your Facebook app consumes more energy than a dark background. Also, it may not be as appealing on smartphones as you would like. So, why should you consider switching to dark mode? There are a number of reasons to do so, starting with your sleep and the health of your eyes. But perhaps the most obvious benefit of dark mode on Facebook is its aesthetic value.
