In Facebook, you can select the level of privacy for your list. Here are three steps you can take to make your friends list private:<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Restricted_list\"><\/span>Restricted list<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to protect the privacy of your Facebook friends, you can use the Restricted list. This will restrict other users from viewing your entire friends list. It is also possible to create a list of specific friends. But first, you&#8217;ll have to decide how much privacy you want to give your friends. Facebook gives you three levels of privacy. To choose a level, tap the three horizontal lines in the top right corner of your screen.<\/p>\n<p>Select the &#8220;Custom&#8221; option. This option allows you to choose which friends can see your list and which users can&#8217;t. By default, it allows everyone to see your list, but you can also choose certain friends or lists of people. Choose &#8220;Custom&#8221; if you&#8217;d like more control. Then, you can select a group of friends to restrict to. If you&#8217;d like to keep certain friends out of your list, tap on &#8220;Don&#8217;t share my list&#8221; and select the people you want to exclude.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Share_with\"><\/span>Share with<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to keep a list of friends private, you can do so by visiting the settings page of your Facebook account. You will need to log into your Facebook account and click the down arrow icon. From here, you&#8217;ll need to select the privacy setting and type the names of two friends you want to hide. After that, click Save Changes and your friends list will no longer be visible to anyone else. This method is perfect if you&#8217;re unable to let others see your friends list.<\/p>\n<p>To make your friends list private, navigate to the &#8220;Lists&#8221; section of your Facebook profile. Click the drop-down arrow and select &#8220;Friends.&#8221; In the same column, click &#8220;Don&#8217;t share with&#8221; to limit the visibility of your friends list to other people. Click the &#8220;Don&#8217;t share&#8221; arrow and select a specific friend or group of friends. You&#8217;ll have more privacy choices in this section than ever before.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Viewing_your_friends_list\"><\/span>Viewing your friends list<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To hide your friends list from everyone else, use the privacy settings on your Facebook account. Select &#8220;Only me&#8221; to make it visible only to you. Then, you can choose other options. After you have made these changes, Facebook will automatically save the settings and synchronize them across all your devices. To restrict specific friends from seeing your posts, use the privacy settings on your Facebook app. You can choose to hide specific friends or your entire list.<\/p>\n<p>The next time you want to see your friends list, go to the Settings page and tap &#8220;Edit Friends.&#8221; A window will open showing you your friend list. The list will be divided into groups and lists. You can also click &#8220;Custom&#8221; to view specific lists. Once you have made the list, you can select the people you want to exclude. By selecting &#8220;Custom&#8221; in the Custom Friends list, you can hide specific friends or whole lists.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Adding_a_friend\"><\/span>Adding a friend<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Adding a friend to your Facebook private friends list is easy. You can do this from the friends tab of your profile. Click on the green button labeled &#8220;Confirm Friend Request&#8221; on the message you received. On the person&#8217;s Facebook page, click the &#8220;Friend Requests&#8221; icon &#8211; the heads and shoulders of two little people. This will bring you to the confirmation page for the friend request.<\/p>\n<p>To find this link, go to the profile of the friend you wish to add. On the &#8220;Confirm Requests&#8221; page, look for a link indicating you are a mutual friend.
