There are a number of ways to do so. In some cases, you can unmute a friend or colleague by opening their profile or tapping their name at the top of the screen. Others may wish to unmute a whole group of people. The standard method is to go to the &#8220;spam&#8221; tab and tap the &#8220;unmute contact&#8221; option.<\/p>\n<p>In Facebook, you can unmute stories by clicking the &#8220;unmute&#8221; button. The button can be found at the top of the News Feed and is located next to the speaker icon. In some cases, you may need to navigate to the &#8220;Stories&#8221; section by hovering over the speaker icon and clicking the three dots in the top right corner. You can also unmute stories by selecting them from the &#8220;Facebook app&#8221; menu.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unfollow\"><\/span>Unfollow<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve accidentally muted someone on Facebook, you can remove the muted status and read their messages. There are two methods you can choose to unmute a person: by following their profile or by opting out of their follower list. Unmuting someone on Facebook doesn&#8217;t mean that you can&#8217;t remain friends with them. In fact, it can help you to keep in touch with those you care about the most.<\/p>\n<p>To unmute someone on Facebook, you must first unfollow them. This is done by clicking the three-dot menu icon on the person&#8217;s post. Once you have done that, you will no longer receive notifications about their posts. Facebook allows you to mute someone temporarily for 30 days. You can undo this whenever you want. You will also stop seeing their posts in your newsfeed. However, you must follow them again after 30 days.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Temporarily_snooze\"><\/span>Temporarily snooze<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to mute someone temporarily on Facebook, you can do so with a few easy steps. First, you must log into your Facebook account. This can be done with the desktop version of the app, or through the website. Once logged in, click on the three-dot menu to reveal the snooze option. You will notice that snoozed posts will now appear for up to 30 days on your news feed.<\/p>\n<p>Next, you can snooze certain posts from your friend&#8217;s page. When you do this, he will no longer be able to see your updates and posts. You can also snooze specific people on Facebook, as long as you do not want to miss anything they share. Then, you can read the posts he has snoozed.
