Depending on the situation, you might not want to restrict someone from seeing your posts.<\/p>\n<p>The process of restricting a friend on Facebook varies depending on the device. On a PC, you can restrict a user by opening the website or using the Facebook app. From there, you can search for the user. Restricting a Facebook user on a mobile device also prevents them from receiving notifications or making phone calls from that person. However, you can still send messages to the person&#8217;s friends who are not on your restricted list.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Ignore_messages\"><\/span>Ignore messages<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>One of the most annoying features on social networks is the Last Seen feature, which you can disable by selecting the option &#8220;Ignore messages when you restrict someone on Facebook.&#8221; Ignoring a message will stop you from receiving future messages from that person and move the conversation thread to your &#8216;Message Requests&#8217; folder. The reason for ignoring a message is similar to the Spam feature in email. This also applies to old chats with that person. If you believe that the person you&#8217;ve blocked is abusing your Facebook account, you can report them. You can also report specific posts to prove what happened.
