Lastly, you will be able to choose which device you want to uninstall Messenger on.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Self-destructing_messaging_feature_on_Facebook_Messenger\"><\/span>Self-destructing messaging feature on Facebook Messenger<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Facebook Messenger has a new self-destructing messaging feature. While messages on Facebook Messenger aren&#8217;t automatically self-destructing by default, users can choose to set the timer for messages to be deleted after a certain amount of time. This feature can be useful for confidential conversations, and it is currently available on Android and iOS devices. To activate the self-destructing messaging feature, users must first toggle the &#8220;Secret Conversation&#8221; button in the top-right corner of the Messenger app. Then, they must select the recipients for the message to be destroyed and set a timer for the message to be deleted.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve ever had a message with a long expiration date, or a message you&#8217;d rather keep for yourself, you&#8217;ll appreciate Facebook Messenger&#8217;s self-destructing messaging feature. This feature ensures that messages are erased from the recipient&#8217;s device within minutes or seconds of receiving them. It works on both devices, and is protected with multiple technologies, including strong password walls.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Logging_out_of_all_devices\"><\/span>Logging out of all devices<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You may have wondered how you can log out of Facebook Messenger across all devices. This simple procedure will allow you to exit the app from all your devices. To do this, simply log in to Facebook on a web browser and select Settings &#8211; Security and Login. Here you will find a list of all active sessions and devices. If you wish to log out of all devices, simply click on &#8216;Log out of all devices&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Next, go to your Facebook app and sign in to your matching account. Scroll down until you see a list of your logged in devices and locations. Click the device&#8217;s name and tap on three dots to the left of it. Tap the Log Out option to confirm your decision. This process will prevent your Messenger account from being used by anyone else. If you&#8217;ve accidentally logged out of Messenger on a device, you will be prompted to enter your password again, which will prevent future logins.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Logging_out_of_all_sessions\"><\/span>Logging out of all sessions<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you wish to log out of all Messenger sessions, you can do so via the Facebook website. To do so, log in to your Facebook account and select Settings. Select Messenger from the left-hand side menu and then click on Log Out. Then select the new password. Click on OK to confirm. Repeat steps 3 and 4 if necessary. Then, log out of Messenger from all devices and browsers.<\/p>\n<p>To log out of Facebook Messenger, you have two options. You can either do it directly from the Facebook app or from the Settings menu. On iOS, simply sign in to the corresponding account. On Android, tap the hamburger icon. Choose Settings. Click on Where You&#8217;re Logged In. Click on the Messenger platform, which is listed in bold. Scroll down until you see a list of your devices. Click on the device that you wish to log out of.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Logging_out_of_all_sessions_on_Android\"><\/span>Logging out of all sessions on Android<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To log out of all sessions on Facebook Messenger on Android, open the app and select Settings. In the Settings menu, tap Logout and select Facebook Messenger. Then, tap the Settings tab and choose the settings you want to manage. Scroll down to &#8220;Logout&#8221; and select Logout from all devices. This option allows you to log out of all Messenger sessions on one device and all browsers on all devices.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve logged out of all other sessions on Facebook Messenger on Android, you&#8217;ll need to sign into your account on your web browser. Go to Settings &#8211; Security and Login. Here, you can see the active sessions by device. Click Log Out from any session to complete the process. This option is especially useful if you use your Facebook Messenger on multiple devices. You can even choose to log out of all sessions if you want to end a particular chat without disconnecting from all other sessions.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Logging_out_of_all_sessions_on_iOS\"><\/span>Logging out of all sessions on iOS<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;d like to log out of all sessions on Facebook messenger on iOS, you can do so by going to your profile on the social media website. Once logged into your Facebook account, navigate to the Settings tab and select &#8220;Security and login.&#8221; Scroll down until you see the Messenger tab. Then, tap the Log Out option. Then, confirm your action by tapping the Log Out button.<\/p>\n<p>In iOS, go to Settings &gt; Accounts. Tap Security &gt; Log Out. Click &#8220;Log Out&#8221; and then &#8220;Clear Data.&#8221; This will remove all messages and account information in your Messenger account. It will not delete your Facebook account, so you can re-enter your password to get into Messenger. But keep in mind that logging out of all sessions won&#8217;t erase your Facebook account.
