Then, click on the &#8220;Setup&#8221; tab to set up a spending limit. You can change this anytime later.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Create_a_new_ad_account\"><\/span>Create a new ad account<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To create a new ad account on Facebook, go to Facebook business manager and click the &#8220;create new ad account&#8221; button. You will be asked to provide your business data, such as a phone number, a website address, and possibly a second address. Once your data has been entered, click &#8220;ad accounts&#8221; on the left-hand side menu. From there, select &#8220;Create new ad account&#8221;. You will be prompted to choose a name for your new ad account. You will also be asked to choose your time zone, which is important to remember because it affects how your ad campaigns appear.<\/p>\n<p>After creating your ad account, you will need to specify your business name. For the most accurate ads, you will need to choose consistent currencies and time zones. Alternatively, you can use a new ad account created for your business. Make sure that you set up the account with consistent currencies and name. Once you&#8217;ve finished creating your ad account, you can now begin adjusting your settings and start testing ads.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Verify_your_domain\"><\/span>Verify your domain<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>When creating an id for your ads in Facebook&#8217;s ads manager, you must verify your domain. This will be done in two ways. You can verify your domain using Facebook&#8217;s DNS or by manually adding a TXT record to your root domain. You will need to wait 72 hours for the DNS to update before Facebook will accept your id. Once verified, you can use the Facebook Business Manager to manage the link permissions for your ads.<\/p>\n<p>Once your domain is verified, you can claim it as your own in the Facebook Business Manager. This will give you full control over the content and links within your ads. In the past, advertisers could send traffic to any domain that they liked, without checking if the domain was legitimate. The process of verifying your domain will help you control your content, as well as edit links and images. You can also choose which links and images to use, making the process easier for you.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Set_spending_limits\"><\/span>Set spending limits<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you want to control how much money you spend on Facebook ads, you can change your account spending limit. You can set your account spending limit at the account level and apply it to all campaigns for the lifetime of your account. You can also set spending limits on individual ad sets. By setting a limit, Facebook will only charge you up to the amount specified in your account settings. Once you reach the amount, Facebook will stop charging you.<\/p>\n<p>Once you set your campaign budget in Facebook Ads Manager, you can optimize your bid strategy and delivery. By adjusting the budget of your ad set, you can control how much you spend on each ad. If you are new to Facebook Ads, you may want to create at least two or three ad sets to test the effectiveness of your ad campaigns. This way, you can determine which ad sets are performing better than others, and shut down those that are not.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Add_users\"><\/span>Add users<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you are running a business, you may want to allow other people to manage your advertising campaigns. This is possible if you use Business Manager, a tool provided by Facebook. However, you must first add these people to your Business Manager account. You can do this by clicking People in the left navigation and clicking Add on the right. Once you have added people, you can assign them specific roles, such as employees or admins.<\/p>\n<p>Once you&#8217;ve added an administrator to your account, you can grant access to other users as well. This way, they&#8217;ll be able to view your ads and manage them. You can give access to other people by allowing them to view your page and ads. This can make it much easier for you to monitor and audit the accounts of your colleagues. Remember that this is a public space, so make sure you share the link with them.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Select_payment_method\"><\/span>Select payment method<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>You can choose which payment method you want to use on Facebook as your primary method. Generally, Facebook will charge your account when the billing threshold reaches a certain amount each month. When you first begin advertising on Facebook, set the billing threshold to a small amount and pay as you go. Depending on your success rate, Facebook will increase the amount you pay each month until it reaches the final threshold. To avoid unexpected charges, set a small amount when you first start advertising on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p>You can also add more payment methods if you want to. Facebook lets you set spending limits, view upcoming bills, and add secondary payment methods. You can also add a manual payment method or set up a backup payment method in case one of your payment methods fails. Once you&#8217;re ready to start advertising, be sure to choose a payment method that is convenient for you.
