Here are some simple tips and tricks. You can also disable notifications on your iPhone or iPad. Then, when you do receive a notification, you can quickly reply to it to turn off sound effects. That&#8217;s it. Now, you can stop hearing notifications on your Facebook phone or iPad. It&#8217;s that easy!<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Disable_all_Facebook_in-app_sound_effects\"><\/span>Disable all Facebook in-app sound effects<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Most iPhone users don&#8217;t want Facebook in-app sound effects. But if you have a problem with Facebook in-app sound effects, you can turn them off in the Facebook settings. First, toggle the &#8220;Play a sound when you receive a notification&#8221; switch to the off position. Secondly, find the &#8220;Videos starting with sound&#8221; option and uncheck it. Your iPhone will no longer emit any sound when playing videos.<\/p>\n<p>To turn off Facebook in-app sound effects, tap on the &#8220;settings&#8221; menu in the upper-right corner of the screen. Then, go to the Notifications tab. Scroll down to Profile Settings, Notification Settings, and then &#8220;Push&#8221; to disable the in-app sound effect. Repeat the steps for the other in-app sound effect settings. Then, enable the mute function to switch off notifications.<\/p>\n<p>Next, check the Facebook settings menu. Some videos in the Facebook app play sounds automatically. This is a good way to disable them. However, some videos are muted by default and you must enable them after they load. To turn off Facebook&#8217;s sound effects, go to the Settings page. You should see the &#8220;Sounds&#8221; tab. Now, toggle the Sound setting to &#8220;Off&#8221;.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_off_all_Facebook_notification_sounds\"><\/span>Turn off all Facebook notification sounds<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve had it with Facebook&#8217;s notification sounds, there are ways to silence them forever. To do so, open Settings and tap Notifications. Tap the app you want to silence and toggle the option to &#8220;Do not play any sound when a notification arrives&#8221; to off. You can also disable message sounds in general. However, the process is a little different on Android. To turn off notifications on Android, you have to go into System Settings and select &#8220;All apps.&#8221; Next, look for &#8220;Facebook.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>On iOS, you can disable the sounds that appear when a message is received. The web version does not have any notification sounds, but the desktop app does. You may need to go to Settings and select Push notifications. From there, select &#8216;Notifications&#8217;. Once you&#8217;ve selected the option, tap &#8220;Do Not Play Sound&#8221; and turn the switch to Off. Once you&#8217;ve disabled in-app notifications, you can turn them back on.<\/p>\n<p>To disable Facebook Messenger notifications, you can go to the Settings menu and select Notifications &amp; Sounds. On the notification settings page, find the Message and Messenger sounds and toggle off the option next to them. Facebook Messenger notification sounds are annoying and can be disabled for good. But if you want to turn off the sounds forever, you can do that, too. The steps below will help you do it. You can even mute a particular conversation or turn off notifications for individual contacts.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Turn_off_all_Facebook_reaction_sound_effects\"><\/span>Turn off all Facebook reaction sound effects<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>To turn off all Facebook reaction sounds, you must be a Facebook user. The website adds these sound effects to its interface for enticing users to interact with it. These sounds can be distracting and can be turned off in the site settings. You can also disable the video-playing sounds. The steps below will guide you through the process. Once you&#8217;ve completed the process, you&#8217;ll be free of all sounds and notifications on the social networking website.<\/p>\n<p>First, open the Facebook app and navigate to the Settings tab. Then tap on the three lines on the top right corner of the screen. Scroll down to Sounds and slide the switch to the Off position. That&#8217;s it! No more annoying noises in your Facebook experience! If you don&#8217;t want to change any settings, simply log out and reinstall the Facebook app. Then follow the steps mentioned above.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re on Android, go to the Settings section of your Facebook application. There, you&#8217;ll find a switch labeled &#8220;In-App Sound.&#8221; Tap this switch to turn off the Facebook reaction sounds. In iOS, tap the same setting. Turn off the sound on your Facebook app so you don&#8217;t hear any annoying noises. Lastly, disable in-app sound.
