In order to do this, you can click the More option in the navigation bar of your profile page. In the More menu, click on the Likes option. Next, click the three dots icon in the upper-right corner of the Likes section. Select Edit the Privacy of Likes in the expanded menu. On the next page, you must click the globe icon next to the page category that you want to hide.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Edit_privacy_settings\"><\/span>Edit privacy settings<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>There are several ways to edit the privacy settings of your Facebook profile. One way to hide likes from other people&#8217;s posts is to choose the category they&#8217;re from. While you can&#8217;t hide individual likes, you can hide them by page category. To do this, log into your Facebook account and go to your personal About page. From here, select Likes, Manage, and Edit Privacy. You can then select &#8220;Other.&#8221; To do this, select the option that controls who can view your timeline.<\/p>\n<p>Click the three dots to the right of the Likes section to open the Reaction Preferences page. Select Edit the Privacy of Your Likes to change who sees them. You can choose to make them visible only to you, only to your friends, or both. The level of privacy you choose will be displayed in the world icon at the bottom of the page. The highest level is &#8220;Only Me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To hide the likes from your own posts, you can access the privacy settings in the app itself. If you&#8217;re looking for more views on your page, you can leave the box for &#8220;allow non-FB users to view my page.&#8221; Unchecking this box will prevent anyone from seeing your posts on search engines like Google. You can also hide posts that are shared by others if you wish to focus on mental health.<\/p>\n<p>You can also turn off the option &#8220;On posts by others&#8221;. This will hide all the reactions on any posts that contain your name. This is a great way to reduce the pressure to get more likes. But make sure that you turn it off if you don&#8217;t want to be bothered by people who see the likes on your page. That way, you&#8217;ll be free of these unwanted likes.<\/p>\n<p>To edit the settings for your posts, tap the hamburger menu in the upper-right corner of the app. Scroll down to the Reactions section. On the left-hand side, click the toggle that says &#8220;On posts from other users.&#8221; If you&#8217;re on an iPhone or an Android, you can also change this to hide the like counts for your posts. This way, new people will only see posts from your friends and family.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Unfollow_people_who_dont_want_to_see_your_likes\"><\/span>Unfollow people who don&#8217;t want to see your likes<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you&#8217;ve found a Facebook friend who you no longer want to see your likes and posts, you may want to unfollow them. By doing this, you can see their posts but not view their profile. You can also unfollow them from your friends&#8217; list if you wish. This option will remain active for 30 days. If you decide you no longer want to be followed by them, simply unfollow them from your friends list and follow them again.<\/p>\n<p>The main benefit of unfollowing someone is that you can prevent new posts or stories from appearing in your newsfeed. However, this option is one-way, and it will not affect the person you unfollowed. You can choose to block a person individually by visiting their profile page and choosing the option &#8220;Report&#8221; or &#8220;Block.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>To unfollow a person, you must be following them first. By default, people who like a page will be following it. However, you can choose to unfollow them if you no longer wish to see their likes. Simply click on the Following button and choose a drop-down menu. Select &#8216;See First&#8217; or &#8216;Unfollow&#8217;. You&#8217;ll then be notified whenever a new post comes from the Page.<\/p>\n<p>You can also choose to mute someone on Facebook. This process will stop them from seeing your posts for 30 days. It&#8217;s also easy to reverse. The process will not harm your relationship. Your friend will still be your friend. If you don&#8217;t want your friends to see your likes on Facebook, you can learn about the best way to get more likes.
